This is a very rugged knife. Mine arrived with the blade really sharp. I have had mine outdoors for a while, from time to time. There is no rust on the knife. I have also dropped it, no problems with that either.You may also be able to file down the top of the blade, to make it a dual edge knife.The whole knife is also very tight. If anything at all would be necessary for knife, it would be to oil the hinge once a year. You probably can also sharpen the blade with some rough sandpaper.The handle of the knife is also very sturdy. Nothing on the knife will probably ever break. It is also probably within the legal limits to carry on your person, in the USA.Obviously also, there are places where knives are not permitted. And there are such things as metal detectors, and a stations, where they might wand you for metal weapons.Very much worth your money.

once i got the first one it was obvious I needed two this knife is great inexpensive, light, and effective. I usually have carried knives that cost 50 to 100 dollars and I get twisted if I loose one. this makes it easier once I loose one....... I have lost two leathermans and a buck 110cheap solution

The media could not be loaded. I was looking at three different knives, but I decided to go with this one because it was five dollars and the reviews are pretty good. I just received both and my immediate reaction is they are flimsy. The handle is plastic, so you can flex it. I would be afraid to use this knife like aggressively. The other knives that I was looking at they were a few dollars more ($10) but those handles are made of aluminum. I just read the description for this product and it says the blade is metal and the handle is camo, what they should’ve wrote it is plastic, painted camo. It seems like this information was intentionally left out. My bad for not doing more research.

seems sturdy and well put together for the price

I just received this knife, it is very nice seems to be quite Sharp it does have a nice camo coloring and has a back latch to close the blade. My only concern is the plastic handle I don't know how sturdy or well made the plastic is it feels sturdy in the hand but also like a toy almost as it is a flimsy I toy almost as it is a flimsy I can't toy almost as it is a thinner plastic it seems. My boyfriend has been begging me and his parents for MONTHS to buy him an actual pocketknife to replace his tiny little red swiss army knife. So, I got him this knife for christmas and he absolutely LOVED it and immediately went around the house looking for random stuff to cut to test out how it worked lol. And it worked good!!! Perfect gift for such a low price

I purchased this knife just a month or so ago. I only use this knife to open up boxes on my job sites. It works well but the moment I placed it on my belt next to my snips pouch, it broke when I pulled it off to use. I would have never thought that it would break that easy under very little pressure. It wasn’t even a very fast movement. I have another type that I bought at the same time of this one. I hate to write poor reviews but I have to do my part to inform the next customer. Make it even worse I just missed my return window 10 days ago.
