Grand Parade Coffee, 3 Lbs Kenya AA Unroasted Green Coffee Beans, Nyeri Women Produced Single Origin, Specialty Arabica - Fair Trade

I have been roasting for a number of years and these beans roasted perfectly. I like a darker roast and the flavor was fantastic, very smooth and robust. I measure how a coffee does my the last sip, not the first. I have a big mug and like to take my time sipping it. Even after it has sit and been heated in the microwave, it still retains that smooth, rich flavor with minimum of acidity.

Good quality i roast in a old popcorn popper and these beans roast up fragrant and delicious with decent amounts of chaff

I've tried multiple green coffee suppliers on Amazon. This is the only one that I've found great and consistent quality, without the high shipping prices of Sweet Maria.

I tried this at a medium roast and didn't like it. Tried again at a dark roast and it was much better.

I micro-roast (1/3 cup) at a time so as to have control of my results. This bag was roasted to a medium roast, the roasting time was significantly shorter than the other types of coffee I’ve roasted from South America. These roasted quickly and were on point…3 hours later and I had 2.90 lbs of excellent tasting coffee. It was smooth with very little bitterness and it was enjoyable both with a dash of creamer and straight black. Good time was had by all.

In addition to this being a fair trade coffee, I am enjoying these beans from Burundi very much. I roasted about a minute past the end of first crack. The moisture content was pretty normal and chaff was light. So far it has berry notes with a hint of vanilla. I cant wait to taste how it improves over the next few days..

Super impressed with this coffee from Burundi. Since being laid off from my roaster position, I’ve been roasting coffee from home to save money. This coffee is incredibly clean and sweet with a nice acidity. I usually get my greens from Sweet Maria’s but it will happily purchase from Grand Paradé again.

Great smooth taste and easy to roast. I have already bought another 2 lbs and plan on this being my go to bean and importer.
