MIRKIT Baofeng Battery BL-9 2200mAh Li-ion Compatible with: Baofeng UV-9R, UV-9R Plus, BF-T57 Two Way Radios - Rechargeable Extended Battery Radio

This battery fits perfectly and charges fine on both of my UV9R Plus radios with OEM chargers that I purchased from Mirkit. I believe that if you purchase items and radios from an authorized USA Baofeng distributor such as Mirkit, you should not have any issues. I will update this review if the batteries fail prematurely. One drawback is that I didnt find the actual amp-hr rated batteries that came with my radios but these should perform well enough for a back up situation. Will purchase these again.

Doesn't fit UV-9R Plus at all. The battery is a different form factor than my Baofeng UV-9R by a couple of standards. There's a trapezoidal shape at the top and the batteries I received is a lot smaller than the one that mates from the battery. It is also a lot thicker and wouldn't probably seat flush to the back of the radio even if it did mate it up. I MIIIIIGHT get it to fit with some filing but I'm not sure. My original battery is on the right in the first pic and on the bottom in the second.

Other reviewers claiming it doesn't fit their UV9 Plus obviously are not using a legit Baofeng. There are a lot knock offs out there. This is a factory battery replacement for a true Baofeng UV-9R, UV-9R Plus, UV-82WP (T-56), BF-T57

This battery is for my uv-9, one of my favorite radios. It’s the same battery that came with the radio. It is a good quality battery and works just fine.

The battery does not fit perfectly in the UV-9RPlus. The battery only fit using force and after it fit, it doesn't disengage anymore. As I need the radio for this weekend, and it worked, I preferred not to return it, but as soon as I can I'll buy another one. In the pictures I put the battery that came with my UV-9Rplus and the one I just bought.

This battery work as well if not better than the original. If you want a spare this is a good purchase.

The battery I received did not fit my UV-9R Plus. Not sure if there was a slight change in the case design, so for reference, I received my radio the same day from another seller on Amazon. S/N starts with 19UV9R... so that might mean it’s a 2019 model? I was, however, able to file the plastic on the battery where it was interfering, and it now works ok. This replacement is a little thicker than the original battery, but seems to fit snug now. Fits the charger fine.
