I love this hat for my son! I put it on him whenever he goes to the splash pad, when kayaking, hiking, or any outdoor outing that requires prolonged sun exposure. I love its functionality, especially for kids. I can tighten it on his head so the wind doesn’t blow it away at the beach and I love the neck cover. I also love the low maintenance of it, he can wet it and it dries quickly.

We’ve purchased several of these hats over the years for my kid, perfect for forest school, camp, vacation, etc. The bill is made of some kind of foam that isn’t affected by getting wet so he can wear it in the pool/creek/whatever.

I purchased this hat for my 6 year old daughter. There are several features I like about this hat. First off, the back neck flap can be removed, as well as, the chin strap. My daughter has Sensory Processing Disorder and this hat would have been useless if not for these detachable parts. The hat is also adjustable on the top of the hat so it stays on her head easily without the chin strap. I have two minor complaints about the hat. The first being that unless you tuck the child’s ears in then it causes the ears to stick forward. I have a similar style hat for adults that does the same thing so maybe it’s just this type of hat design or my family has big ears. My second minor complaint is that the hat’s rim isn’t completely flat just slightly warped even when I try to bend it to make it flat. Even with these minor complaints then I’m happy I purchased this for our summers outside.

This is not a hat I would normally consider cute but really it is when put on, at least, my 7 year old kid looks very cute with it on. Got this to go to Disney and it worked great! It has really good coverage and it's breathable. We went to the parks on July and although it was very hot, my kid didn't complain about the hat making him even hotter. He always kept it on. For the rides, we just clipped it to his fanny pack using a small carabiner we bought. Worked great and it didn’t interfere at all. Now he'll use it for future camping trips, I don't even care it's not part of the Cubscout uniform. He's using it cause it protects him much better than what he usually uses. It was definitely worth buying it.
