Great Mees however, if you’re gonna start out doing Mees training, you may wanna start at the lowest setting. This was a 15 pound and it seems to be a great quality. It is easy to use. Grip and comfort is OK. Valley for money seems OK as well however, if you’re going to do this and start it out and you’re not used to doing this start up with a five or 10 not a 15 and I’m in pretty good shape

More centrally balanced than a sledgehammer.
I was expecting more of a balance similar to a sledgehammer, but this was much more centrally balanced, just above the knurlled section, closer to the head. Maybe that is how a steel mace is supposed to be balanced, I wouldn't know as this is my first. Another possibility is mine is more centrally balanced because it is only a 7 pounder. I don't pretend to have X-ray vision, but it feels like the knob is not just welded onto a pipe, but as though it is plug shaped & going down the handle at least ~6".Also the handle diameter is different, 1.26" might be the inner diameter on my 7 LBer, but I measured 1 9/16" OD w/ my tape measure.Other than that, quality seems excellent :))I added a Gorilla clear rubber foot to protect floors if I drop the handle and some security if the mace slips from my grip

THE single most underrated strength traning tool in existence
W/out a doubt in my mind THE heaviest 25lbs I've ever lifted in my life & I've DL'ed 585lbs x 3 full reps. More proof the ancient world had technology that surpasses anything our so-called modern world even attempts to replicate.

Great Mace
First, the mace is what it is; a weighted ball at the end of a stick. You can't really mess that up.The product came in the condition many others have noted and the paint on the ball is chipped all over the place. This does not effect the functionality of the object. It is a ball at the end of a stick. I did a full workout of 360s, 300s, lunges, squats, curls, tricep extensions and was thoroughly sore the day after. Do not underestimate how heavy 20lbs is when it is at the end of a stick. I also picked up the 10lb afterwards for active recovery and it is the perfect weight for that. After using the 20, the 10 seems way lighter.Overall, I would get these again. I did take a star off because of the condition of the paint and I was buying something new. Both have already been getting a lot of use and taking a beating along the way.

Amazing product
Every person should own a mace. I absolutely love this thing and use it as my only workout tool.

Hammering your way to fun and maybe some muscles
Epic! Hands down and yo they will be down after you swing this bad boy a few rotations into your whole body work out! If you know how to use it correctly, the pendulum type swinging momentum helps you correctly swing a circle engaging your core, upper and lower body all at the same time while fine tuning balance and micro tuning whole body movements.

Go with 10/15 lbs unless you are VERY strong!
If you don't consider yourself an "advanced" athlete settle for the 15 lbs one. I can lift some very heavy weight and have been training for years but this piece of equipment humbled me. I was able to do the different mace swing techniquesright off the bat but with difficulty.Good price, great quality, will last forever, builds incredible strength and will make you better at swinging stuff. Get one and start training right now.

Bit of a learning curve, but it's amazing.
I have been working out off and on for about ten years. Aggressively at times, but mostly casually. I did endurance lifting and cardio with some strength training in bursts. I figured with me being comfortable with heavy weights(curling 50 lb dumbbells comfortably and benching 100lb dumbbells for full reps) that I should go with the heaviest mace. Luckily, I dialed it back and went with the 25lb. It definitely whooped me at first. I used youtube tutorials to learn basic moves but could barely get through them. Mainly because you have to control each swing or you risk kneecapping yourself or tearing something. It's been a month and a half now and with intermittent use, I'm able to control it much more easily and have branched out to more advanced moves. I feel so much stronger. I had hit a plateau at the gym and was having trouble getting motivated again, but maces seem so much more fun and rewarding. My arms have already grown about a 1/4 of an inch and my wife said my shoulders and arms are starting to show more definition. She even ordered a 10lb mace that I use for warm-ups and lighter exercises.I'll probably order heavier and lighter maces down the line once I save up more, since I can tell this is a very versatile piece of equipment. It's definitely helping me think outside the gym and now all I have to do, is walk out in the backyard and start swinging. Just make sure there aren't any pets or children around you. This thing could do some damage, for sure. Which is probably an added plus for all you zombie preppers out there.
