Works fine. I use to hold my front hair back when I air dry hair. It does not cause indentations.

As described, but a bit rough around the edges. Not smooth like normal clips you would get at the store. Looks like the plastic needs to be sanded down a bit more. They do work fine for keeping your hair out of your face during makeup application which is all I wanted so good enough!
