Good product, shaves very well
Works very well, does not irritate my skin like other shavers that I have had. Hold a charge for a long time. The docking station is great although my wife hates it sitting on her bathroom vanity.

The best!!!!
One of the best electric shavers I have ever had. It was the first time I purchased this electric shaver from Philips, and I'm delighted. It works perfectly fine, is well-designed, easy to clean, reasonably quiet, and has a reasonable price. I will highly recommend the Philips electric shaver.

It’s durable and works as intended.
I have had this product for three years. It is reliable, works in the water, and has a long battery life. I initially bought this product because I could no longer shave with a razor and shaving cream due to sensitive skin. The electric razor leaves my skin smooth without having to use shaving cream. Although, you can use shaving cream with product for a closer shave. It has not rusted and I have purchased new blades for it at the two year mark as directed by the manufacture.Cons: I wish the the shave was slightly closer, which it can be when used with shaving cream. I use it as dry shave. Feels a little cheap. The trimmer also does not cut hair as close to the skin as I’d like, it’s okay though.Pros: Uses the same blades as more expensive models, saves time in the morning, it is durable and will last. Leaves your face free of razor irritation or pimples, replacement blades are easy to find with multiple manufacturers, replace blades every 2 years as directed.

good shave. I like it.
I like the ease of electric shavers. It's easy to do a quick clean up. When I used to get Norelco shavers decades ago, they didn't seem to work as well, not as close as a razor shave. But that was when my beard was coarse and dark. Now, as an older guy, my beard is white and probably thinner. Or it could also be that the shavers got better. Which it probably is because they are more powerful now and have rotating heads. In any case, I now get a good clean shave which appears to be as good as a razor shave.

Better Than I Thought
Although I have not used this for long at all, I've tested it in three different scenarios:1. Dry Shave,2. Shaving Cream in the Shower3. Shave with Pre-ShaveI would have to say that I was quite impressed in every situation. There was no irritation to the skin whatsoever shaving dry, and that was the first shave with an electric razor in over 15 years. So, my skin had no preparation. Using it in the shower with shaving cream gave a closer shave while using Ron's Natural Pre-Shave obviously gave the cleanest shave. My observations were that it does take longer to shave, but not by much if you consider that you don't need time to allow the shaving cream to soak in and having to clean up that mess afterwards. The second thing I noticed is that it doesn't get as close of a shave as a conventional razor, but almost as close. If you rub the whiskers against the grain, you might feel 5 - 10% more nubbles at most, but that depends on your own beard. I would safely say that all electric razors regardless of brand or price will provide similar results. I haven't used the popup trimmer, so I can't speak to that, but I would think it to be a plus for those who would benefit from it.It is a sinch to clean. Push the button to pop open the head and rinse it under running water. Charging can be done quickly, just 5 minutes if you find the battery fully drained. The razor feels good in the hand and easy to grip. It comes with its own charger, and the travel pouch is really nice. The good thing is that it has replaceable heads, so unless you drop it in the shower and break it, this razor should last many years. It is very thoughtful of the manufacturer to give you 45 days to try it out. I know I will keep mine. Why did I change from a conventional razor to an electric razor? There are a few reasons. I was running late to appear before some business colleagues on a Zoom meeting. In a rush to get ready, I nicked my face in several places. Some, like me can bleed for a while before clotting. I decided right then and there that I was going to purchase an electric razor. The second reason is that this will be cheaper in the long run. Third, I don't have to run to the store to get razors or shaving cream because I forgot the last time I was out shopping. Last, because I now can use a natural substance on my face without any harmful chemicals. I used Old Rons Barber Company Pre Shave Splash. A little pricey, but it is unscented and works great. You can buy it here on Amazon too.

Good for the money, particularly at this price, but buy an extended warranty.
The razor itself does a good job at providing a smooth shave, even in those difficult places to reach on the philtrum right under the nose. However, I bought this razor only 11 months ago and after regular use (3 or 4 times a week) it no longer works. The battery continues to recharge but the motor itself will no longer turn the blades. However, it's performance was good enough, and the price was inexpensive enough compared to other options, that this time I purchased a 3-year extended warranty. The $9 3-year warranty was much less expensive than the $70 or so dollars I'd have to pay to replace it with the same product. Even with the warranty it still provides good value.
