Awesome, swapped with full cylinder without a problem
I like these 125 cylinders for both my Tig and MiG welders—perfect size because they’re easy to handle and have the capacity to do a lot of welding. This tank deal is also a great value, as it cost me $40 to swap for a full tank that’s a $75 savings over the full “pretty” tanks that 90% of the welders swap away rather than fill.

125cu Argon Tank
The tank came quick and was delivered in a well protected cardboard box. The tank was also protected by plastic webbing from top to bottom to prevent it from scratching. My local gas companies here in North Carolina are ARC3 and Airgas; unfortunately they only do bottle exchanges in my area. Their filling stations are over 2-1/2hrs away; there isn’t any local filling stations nearby. Both companies gladly accepted my new tanks and exchanged them without any question. You’re better off buying your own bottle on Amazon vs purchasing from your local gas company. Airgas’s price for 125cu bottle of Argon in January 2023 was $386 with taxes, the only caveat is they give you the gas for free when you buy their bottle but you actually don’t save any money and could spend up to $85-150 more depending on the bottle size. Im a frequent buyer of both companies and their prices fluctuate from month to month. My only complaint, I would’ve loved to kept my new tank instead of exchanging for their worn down tanks. You shouldn’t have any issues filling or exchanging these Amazon pressurized bottles. Highly recommended! I know some folks had issues exchanging or filling them in their area because a change in the standard or hydrostatic testing protocols or specific markings that should be stamped on these bottles? I have no complaints.

Served its purpose
My local gas supply outlets only allow trade-ins for Argonne/CO2 blends so I was looking for a good price on a bottle. The bottle arrived in good condition. No problem with the caps being difficult to remove as I read in other reviews. My only concern was that I was specifically looking for a bottle with the DOT stamp that was stated on the product description. No stamp was present. Nonetheless, I had no difficulty trading this unit in at for a full bottle at AIRGAS.

Great Cylinder- In date and ready to go
I think they shipped me a brand new cylinder. It had all of the current certification stamping on the cylinder. I took it to our local Air Gas and exchanged it with no problem. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

Brand new cylinder
It was cheaper to order this cylinder empty and then swap it at tractor supply than to buy a full cylinder from TSC or a welding supply store. Saved me at least $70 maybe more depending on where you exchange it.

CAP WAS PAINTED TO THE BOTTLE
TANK WAS COMPLEATEY PAINTED THREADS AND ALL THE CAP WAS INSTALLED WHILE THE PAINT WAS WET. HAD TO REMOVE WITH A WRENCH AND HAMMER !!!! . DAMAGED THE CAP AND HAD TO USE A THREAD CHASER TO CLEAN OUT TANK THREADS SO A NEW CAP WOULD FIT SO I COULD GET IT FILLED
