Pretty decent edible paint!
Took 3 good coats on the bows to get the solid look I wanted and 2 coats on the letters. Was worried about dry time cuz of some reviews but it actually dried within a few minutes for me to do the other layers then I left over night to dry for good measure before wrapping in plasticwrap. Color was great! I was goin for that boho light gold that looks good with purple, not the vintage green gold that looks old. Pics show the gold in warm lighting from kitchen. Also, no flavor or smell to this and I used straight from bottle. I also used it on a glossy glaze not nasty royal icing.

Beautiful, but gross
The media could not be loaded. This definitely surpassed my expectations. I made an Ursula-inspired cake and wanted to paint the shell on top gold. The paint separates in the bottle, so make sure you shake it before using it; once you paint, it won’t separate on your cake. As you can see, I painted over white fondant and you can’t tell that the underlying color is anything other than gold. I did three coats, but one would have been sufficient. It gives off a gleaming appearance, even after it dries! This is my first time using edible paint and I expected it to be like regular paint… that is not the case. It is runny and very messy, so be prepared for that. Even after it dries, it will come off on your hands if you touch it. While it is beautiful, the major downside is it is disgusting. That was okay for my cake because it was just for a decoration on top, so no one had to eat it, but if you are planning to paint the actual cake or your strawberries, you don’t want this paint. Good luck!

Gold icing paint
I like it. As a paint… I mixed it into some icing and it did not taste good. But I like the way it looks and as a paint didn’t alter the taste of the cookies.

Great product
i used this product for wedding cake for a friend. The color was perfect. Getting it to dry in summer was a bit of a challenge but it turned out!

Good for coloring Easter eggs
Was looking for a paint to color eggs in gold. This is the only paint I found to make a nice gold color. It took us 4 layers to make it gold and a bit of aligning the color with a cotton pad. Happy with the result, but would be even more happy if it didn't require so much attention and time

Lovely
I purchased the copper one for a pretty brown but metallic sheen on my sister's birch tree/gnome wedding cake I made her. It went on nicely and the metallic shininess dressed the cake up perfectly.

Beautiful color
The media could not be loaded. The color was stunning the glitter was also a great perk! Downside if your in a hurry do not use this product last minute there is a lengthy drying time! Also if you need to add pieces after it’s been painted it does not attach well at all and made attaching pieces after it’s painted very difficult, it also has a strong smell. Otherwise I loved this product but I probably wouldn’t use it to paint an entire pieces just accent pieces!

Edible gold
The media could not be loaded. This product is thin with a beautiful shine. You may have to add a few coats, but let it dry between.

Beautiful paints. Terrible taste.
This is a good value, given that individually these would have cost $130. (Would be nice to have sets that aren't just gold and silver tones, like a rainbow set or something.) And the colours are really nice - the shimmer is really very beautiful and they blend together well. But the taste is really, really bad and I don't know how to fix it. I've tried the techniques they indicate (very thin coats, leaving it to dry completely, even leaving it overnight). I've tried it on all kinds of food, too: Chocolate, fondant, marshmallows, even cookies, and the taste just kind of overpowers everything else. Not sure how to describe the taste: Bitter? Chemical? Melted plastic?I'm kind of disappointed because I got these to use for a (virtual) decorating party for my daughter and her friends, and while I think they will love using the colours and making stuff, I'm 99% certain that they won't actually eat any of it in the end because it's going to taste so bad. I wish the seller/manufacturer would provide more guidance on how to mitigate the awful taste that goes beyond "thin coats" and "let it dry".

actual gold color
My son wants gold on his wedding cake. Good luck making gold icing as it turns out yellow, then orange, then brown. This paint is actually gold! It doesn't taste great, much like red or black icing, but I only need it for some small details so it will work perfectly

Best edible gold paint I’ve tried yet!
Arrived in a couple days and was perfect for painting on Royal icing on these cookies! I bought this product because I’ve been looking for a good edible gold paint for my cakes and cookies and three coats of this stuff sure does the trick! Can’t wait to try it out on buttercream and fondant. I ordered silver as well, I have yet to try that out as well, but I will most definitely be ordering this product again in the future. (The bottles are tiny, only 15ml)
