I use it once per year and it takes care of the weeds on my St. Augustine grass. It works slowly and within 6 weeks I see a healthy lawn. Been using Bonus S for more than 15 years and it never fails.

Applied 10 days ago and watered per instructions. Have used this product for years on the same St. Augustine lawn. But this time no effect whatsoever on actively growing weeds.REVIEW UPDATEI applied this product to my St. Augustine lawn when weather was still cool. As temperatures warmed I noticed weeds were dying and most are now gone. There are some that were not affected but as Bonus S instructions note, "Southern weed and feed controls dollarweed, clover, dandelion, chickweed, oxalis, henbit, purslane, and more as listed". Have used this product for many years and in the past it has worked well, but this year I applied it earlier and that appears to have delayed activation of the weed control. The listed weeds are gone and the St. Augustine is growing well.

I applied it in September (for reference, I Iive in the Caribbean) and it killed about 70% of the weeds without injuring my zoysia grass. Recently Home Depot stopped carrying Vigoro Weed and Feed and this a good replacement. I didn’t give it 5 stars as I have not seen any ‘feed’ effect yet, nonetheless very good weed control for Zoysia grass.

Great fertilizer for NW Florida region. Size is great, good value for the money and applies easily. The color of our lawn is amazing and grows great, even in the extreme heat!Make sure you spread evenly, your grass will burn if you apply too much to one area.

When the grass started growing this spring I has a lot of weeds in my zoysia. So I tried the more expensive triple action product. Might have well spread sand. Nothing noticeable occurred so I waited 10 wks to be safe went back to Bonus S. Bam. Thick zoysia and weeds reduced 90%. In one week.

Instruction were easy follow. Ease of spreading. Good value for money.

This worked great for me. It has my grass really green. It took a while to penetrate the soil, but when it did, it did it's job!!!

The product did not produce the desired or promised outcome It was only minimally effective in both greening the grass and eliminating the weeds. I would not buy it again.
