Keeping Busy Word Search Topic Set 1 Dementia and Alzheimer's Engaging Puzzles/Activities/Games for Older Adults

I use these for my dad who has dementia, and Parkinson's when he says he needs something to do. I always start at level one. Some days these are a struggle, while on other days he'll complete one and say, "It's too slow, more words." I will give him one from level two. He hasn't made it to level three. Not because he can't but because the letters are too small. One improvement would be to keep the level 1 font size but increase the number of words to the amount of level 2, and so on.My 6 year old granddaughter loves doing these as well. So these being reusable is awesome. I just added the first set of level 1s I bought and the pen to the folder and make them available to both my dad and my granddaughter. The keeps them both busy while I cook dinner.

These work so well for my mom! She loves word search but has had trouble with it because of her eyes sight and early dementia! She loves theses and she can clean them and redo them!

I bought these for my 90 year old mother who has dementia and sits around all day. These word searches are wonderful because 1) they have a large font 2) the plastic is sturdy and secure to grasp 3) you can easily wipe them down with a wet paper towel and start all over the next day 4) there are three levels of difficulty because it's hard to predict which level you will need. 5) people get a sense of satisfaction completing them 6) As the dementia progresses, you can drop down to easier levels.I am thankful for the person that developed and made these puzzles because they obviously care about those struggling with dementia and understand the importance of keeping their minds stimulated.I intend to order more items from this company. Oh, and they sent along a hand signed note for that personal touch.

This is great for someone having memory/cognitive function problems like many forms of dementia. The puzzles are easy enough for someone with early onset dementia to do and there are different levels so that you can move on to harder puzzles once the easiest one are mastered. They are reusable. Uses a washable dry erase pen that comes with it or can be purchased anywhere when you need a new one. Washes off with a wet paper towel & a little soap. Dry it & start over again. It's very good quality. Not junk at all. Comes with tips on how to use it for someone with dementia. I'm glad I bought it. I can gladly recommend it to others.

The dry erase marker cap off no where to be found marker dry and did not work plastic package was slightly open , the rest other than one slightly bent puzzle sheet.

I didn’t realize so many came in one order or that they were dry erase!! So cool!!

The staff at the rehab facility were impressed with these. I think their simplicity is just what the doctor ordered. Erase the puzzles and start over. Large print and laminated to prevent damage from coffee spills. Overall a good purchase.
