While I was definitely out of my comfort zone drilling holes through my decking, I now have a 200AH LifePo4, Renogy 2000W inverter, Victron smart shunt, these 300A fuses, positive and negative bus bars and a battery cutoff to isolate the entire system. These will protect the system if something ever happens with the positive connection.My only gripe is the plastic cover wouldn’t snap back on, I had to silicone it in placeI can run my Microwave, Keurig, Toaster, TV and even my front Dometic A/C…although only for about 90 minutes.This is going to change my boondocking in Colorado.Battery recharges from the 200W panel on the roof and a 100W panel plugged into my zamp port.

Studs and nuts are thick and of proper size for the amperage. have a few sets of these on my solar system and 120 VAC inverters. I had tried other options such as thermal pop fuses sold for speakers or car amplifiers , all failed to provide low impedance and arc internally.This solved the problem of arcing DC by providing secure terminations of cabling. Have drawn 200 amps continuously for 6+ months so far without a single fuse blowing. so that 300 amp rating holds true. Kinda of wonder though how quick will it pop if its over 300 amp?Wish i could destructively test it but im sure if my 2,000 amp hour bank shorted it would blow instantly.It comes with replacements which is nice, pin them next to the mount so you dont lose those spares.

It does what's expected

So far it’s doing the job mounted on a travel trailer with parallel batteries and feeding a 2000 watt inverter. The price was excellent and the quality is top notch.
