Super good, not super sweet, spoils fast.
Tastes great. Adds a gourmet flavor to your food. Just be aware, once you open it, it doesn't stay good forever like other ketchup. So use it up quickly.

A much healthier way to enjoy condiments!
No, it's isn't Heinz, but it is good for being a much healthier choice. I can enjoy plenty of ketchup without worrying about the calories or sugar. It's literally a quarter of the calories as most other ketchups!

Great substitute for ketchup!
A really great substitute for ketchup if you are looking for one! I used it while doing a round of Whole30. The flavor is good, though I found the pineapple to be a bit strong (I love pineapple!) and that is my only “complaint.” Will definitely use again on my next round.

not our kinda ketchup
My 1st bottle showed up with the lid open under its shrink wrap. the product had seeped out under the shrink wrap and was rancid. good news is that it was replaced without a problem. This does not taste like any ketchup i have had before. I did like it but my family does not like it. I would buy again if at a really good deal. My family favorite is Organicville.

Tasty
This is not your big box, corn syrup sugar added crap that most of us have grown up on. Years ago I canned my own ketchup from my harvest and was just not yet ready for the real ketchup taste that can be heavy with apple cider vinegar. As I’ve aged and have made strides purging my pantry, I decided to try this ketchup. Boy oh boy is it tasty. If you like apple cider vinegar and tomatoes, then you’ll like this. I use it for all applications in the kitchen. I guess my only complaint is they don’t sell a larger size, as a single bottle tends to go quick in my household.

Absolutely Disgusting
Prefacing my preference would've been to contact Primal directly about my concerns and see if what I received was tainted or a recalled batch of this, but there's nowhere within my order or their product page to do this. Makes anything you eat taste like rotting garbage. This is by far the worst food product I might've ever tasted. The ingredients listed are water, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, pineapple juice concentrate, sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder, allspice, and clove. I'm familiar with all these flavors and expected at minimum to identify the tomato and vinegar right away, which are standard in ketchup. This had a minimal smell surprisingly, the taste was beyond awful as if I'd been eating rotting stewed garbage. I make wine, beer, spirits, and even vinegar with excess for crafting fermented foods and am very familiar with the welcoming scent of fermentation but this was something else entirely. I can't imagine that anyone's ever enjoyed this and assume I might've gotten a bad batch? Unfortunately, there's no way to contact the vendor, which is what ultimately drives my review to zero stars. The only slightly differentiable ingredient in this is the vinegar, which is strong but still overpowered by the disgusting rotting taste. I don't know what tastes metallic in this either unless the tomatoes were stored in rusty metal before making this. I'd be open to exploring if this was an isolated case for the bottle I received but not looking to pour good money after bad in this instance. This is the most disgusting food product I've ever tasted. Not being able to contact the manufacturer of a purchased food product when I'm concerned about its safety? Unacceptable.

Love this ketchup
I tried this once - purchasing at Whole Foods and am hopefully never going back.Glad to find it on Amazon and IMO worth the extra money as I can't find it in the stores right now.

Good alternative to traditional ketchup
I had to cut back on my sugar intake, so I tried this ketchup. It is surprisingly very good. The texture and consistency is good too. The only drawback is for a little jar, it is expensive, but since I am the only one in the house using it, it is ok.
