Lao Folktales

This short book offers a brief view into Lao culture (I assume), but i didn't find the stories themselves particularly interesting. Different, though.

I had a book of Lao Folktales, Steve Epstein. It was an excellent tool for studying Lao (reading and writing) as it has the two languages on alternate pages. I have been unable to find the bilingual book. Anyone???

Okay so maybe I'm a bit biased because my uncle wrote the book. It is a fun read, fast paced Aesop-ish stories with a Lao twist. The illustrations are extremely detailed too.
