Grenade Reload Energy x 12 Bars - Billionaires Shortbread

Loved the flavour, definitely the tastiest store-bought protein bars I've ever tried. Packaging was a bit too much - lots of plastic that is not easily recyclable. I understand that plastic is great for the contents, but it's terrible for the environment and I'd like to see companies begin to reduce their plastic usage. Value for money is great, each bar works out pretty cheap and as I said, the flavour is amazing. Texture is great (not too chalky or too chewy as you would usually expect from protein bars)

The chocolate toppings are often clumped together and very inconsistently dispersed. However, the 36g pieces all taste good, for being high protein. I would like to see less sugars however. Nice to have in your fridge, ready for those times when you need a sugar/choc boost.

A lot of the Grenade bars really stand out for me in terms of taste but this one didn't do it for me. Rather sickly tasted in my opinion and very oaty. Not a hint of shortbread. Bought it to try seeing as it was cheaper than the rest but I'm going to stick with the Cookie Dough flavour from now on.

DO NOT BUY Tastes like vomit, smells like vomit I bought these as I think the grenade carb-killa bars taste amazing - however they are all NOT suitable for vegetarians anymore except for one flavour. So I thought going for these from the same company would be a safe bet. I lost the bet. Going to return these and get my money back. I bought the Billionaires Shortbread flavour but from reading all the other reviews the other two flavours are disgusting too.

Bought these before and love the taste, the macros are good for what I need & they are satisfying. BUT this time so far I’ve had to throw away 2 bars as they were covered in mould, they all have good dates on them so I don’t know why they’ve gone like this but it was disappointing. The box that I received them in was poor, it was open and bars were loose, this is down to the manufacturer not making a substantial packaging to contain the bars. So after I’ve finished this box I probably won’t buy again.
