Good deal
Very comfortable and they stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Just what you would expect from natural wool. Fits perfectly as size is right on

Don’t sleep on these sheep.
These seem like terrific socks—4 star so far with high hopes. They look high quality, feel nice to the touch, and are comfortable. I have the navy and the medium grey. I’ll likely get the light grey soon. I have been rotating two pairs of socks for the last week or so in casual leather boots and on hikes with trail runners (and Microspikes, in the December Boulder Flatirons). These socks are nice and thin, almost like a softer Smartwool PHD Ultralight. I love me some PHD Ultralights! and am only saying that, to me, these are—wonderfully—not thickly padded or bulky in the toes, like so many hiking socks. I am not expecting them to be Smartwool bombproof. (Although they do use similar wool and poly content.)The sizing and stretchability of these socks works for me. In Saucony and Adidas trail runners I am 10.5 and wear xl SW socks—I have sensitive big toes and like some extra toe room. These dress socks fit 8/10 for my carnsarned persnickity gollamajiggy left big toe (like my PHDs fit me) and 9/10 overall. So a normal human will love them! The band that holds them on the calf is a bit too snug, but I roll them over once and down two inches, and they fit like short crew socks, which I really like, and they stay like that all day. They look like the wool mountain biking socks I like to wear. In fact the medium grey is black inside, so when you roll them down there is a banded effect, and they look like intentionally striped socks. (I hope the light grey have the same effect.) They do not slide down over the course of a hike. They are a little slippery against the sock liners in the trail runners I have worn, but I have had no issues at all while hiking. (I even carried a backup pair of PHDs on both hikes and never thought about switching out!) One icy hike was in waterproof Adidas and Microspikes, and my socks were barely damp afterward—very good for me for hiking socks. If half of these socks last a year in my sock rotation, and I believe they will, I will be very happy. I have not washed them yet—gross but awesomely not gross—and plan to alternately machine and hand wash and always air dry, like all my lovely SW and Icebreaker stuff. If they fall apart and break my heart, I will be back. To spill the details. And seek revenge. Don’t sleep on these sheep.Edit: I have put a couple months of daily wear and many trail miles into these wool blend socks, and I am still very happy with them. I did chew up the heel of one sock on a hike recently, due to a little bit of poor shoe fitting exacerbated by the weight of Microspikes. The heel pilled pretty badly, but there are no holes. One sock out of 12, pretty good ratio. Some pilling in friction areas of many socks, but well within reason.

Nice socks.
Comfortable, good fit. Didn’t shrink or warp after wash. Wool keeps it breathable.

Fabulous socks
Unless you live in the tropics, you are familiar with socks. They can be cotton wool synthetic or other. Cotton often times is cold and clammy. Wool can be thick and won’t fit into your shoes. These are perfect. 87% Moreno wool fits into your shoe And is warm and comfortable at the same time. Will buy another set. Very nice socks.

They don't keep bacteria odor from your feet like other wool socks I have.
For merino socks they don't keep bacteria come causing a odor from your feet like other wool socks I have.

Love the stretch!
I broke my foot, and have to wear an orthopedic boot for 8-12 weeks. It is summertime, and I was finding my foot not only had the pain from the break, but also it was overheating with hotspots and had a lot of chaffing. I wanted to get some merino wool socks to help with temperature control, but also wanted something that was stretchy enough to get over my foot easily. I was extremely happy with the elasticity, and the feel of the material. The merino wool content is very high, and helps regulate the temperature of my foot. You get a lot of socks for the price! No, they are not going to be the quality of a Smartwool sock; they are a fraction of the cost. I have found the Velcro on my boot snags the sock when I put my foot in, or take it out of the boot. If you have wide, swollen feet, these are easy to get on.
