I had broken my regular 1/8" up cut spiral bit so I used this O-flute for clearing out the flat areas of a sign I was making out of pine. Everything else being equal, the edges came out much cleaner. A lot less clean up of the fuzzys. I had been using this bit exclusively for plastic, but now I am ordering it for wood as well. I just hope I don't do something stupid and break it... it is much more expensive.

Awesome for HDPE. Razor sharp, these make very smooth cuts even on my cheap CNC machine.

Spend your money wisely...by buying one of these bits!

Use these at work to cut aluminum on a routing table. They work ok, dimensional consistency and cutting edge quality can vary alot from one batch to another. We buy 50 at a time and run them until they break using oil mist and air spray to keep things from sticking together. Not my preferred tool but they do run better at the high speeds (30,000+ rpm) our spindles are turning than just about anything else.
