Copic Markers MLA2 Multiliner Inking Pen, Set A-2,Black

This may seem like a strange use for these pens, but I paint Russian nesting dolls, and I use these pens for fine details on my dolls. They really help make my projects look complete and professional. The pens apply very smoothly and controlled. They are highly pigmented, so I do not need to go over any lines more than once. The range in sizes in this package is helpful, as well. Sometimes I need an extremely fine point, and others I need a thick point. This set covers all of these needs.Another odd craft I have used these for, is writing names on grains of rice. I would use the smallest side pen in this set and write my friends names on a long-grain piece of rice. It was a very fun hobby.Whatever you may need these for, I can attest that they are quality, reliable pens that will get the job done well. I have bought two sets already, and I will buy them again when I need to.

The pens are great. They stand well in comparison to microns. Smooth lines and very good quality ink. I also really enjoy the sizes of nibs you don’t always find, such as .003. One minor issue I find with them is that they dry a little longer if applied heavily onto paper, so if you’re not careful it will smudge. Other than that it’s flawless.

They feel good to ink with and work well

These are my absolute favorite inking pens for the price point, I've been using these for years now. Great for lining comics and general art. I also enjoy using the larger sizes for writing, because the ink flow is reliable and responsive to a light touch.Pouch is convenient for carrying them around, but will get cosmetically dinged up with heavy use. However, the plastic is substantial enough that it doesn't tear with regular use, just gets cloudy dents in it if it gets bent up.If you tend to press when you ink, the felt tips hold up a bit better unlike some other brands I use. Highly recommended for how versatile and affordable these are.

I know marking wood was not the intention of these markers, but I wanted to use them to simulate bolts or nails on a ship model. If the wood is not sealed first, the ink spreads into the wood, spoiling the appearance. And if the wood is varnished first, marks from these markers do not dry well, and will smear and come off, even a day later. I realize this is not the right purpose for these markers, and they're probably wonderful for paper, but not so much for my purposes.

I am a fine artist and love Copic pens. They last surprisingly long. Sturdy tips, very black. The range in sizes are perfect.

Gift. Don’t i iw yet

I bought my first set of multiliners five years ago, when I first started inking. They've always worked extreamly well, with only a few insconsistencies that can probably be accounted to the aging ink. After my .3 pen died, I finally had a reason to get a new set.After five years, I'd forgotten how smooth the ink was when I first bought the pens. But the few picture I've done since I got the new set have been a dream to ink!I highly reccomend these to both professional and amature artists looking for a high quality set of inking pens. The variety in sizes is excellent, and the price is more than reasonable. I'll definately be ordering again - hopefully in less than five years.
