Our kiddo just turned 6, and he would always react very poorly to getting shots — he’d be calm and brave right up until the needle would approach him, and then he’d scream, cry, and flail. I got the Buzzy mini after a friend recommended it, and socialized it with him. He had me hold it against his arm while he got two shots, and for the first time ever, he watched the needles go in without any reaction — not even flinching. He declared, “I didn’t feel anything!” and he was so proud of himself. It was definitely worth the $$ to break the fear cycle.

Okay, I was skeptical, but a nurse friend was going to pay out of pocket to use it for her school clinic and I wanted to help out. She loves it. She's shown it to all of the nurses at her hospital and they have a sign in the work room encouraging folks to try it out. They're going to try to get the admin to pay for more of them, they've been that effective. Not only is it helping the kids, but it helps the nurses not feel so horrible having to give kids a painful shot.

I bought this as a gift for my allergist’s practice. The assistant told me it was effective and helped calm some of their young patients who had a hard time with receiving allergy shots. I got the impression it wasn’t offered to all young patients, probably because of the extra work involved in sterilizing the equipment. That was my impression; don’t have actual info on how much Buzzy got used. I feel it was worth the money, if even just a few children were less traumatised.

We have one child in our family who has been extremely fearful of shots for a few years. We practiced before a scheduled vaccination at home by using the buzzing ladybug as instructed and pretending we were giving shots. I recommend practicing with the child over and over for at least a few days prior to the injection. I can't believe how well it worked! No more fear of vaccinations!

A friend said it works great for her kid, so I got it. Tried it for both Covid shots for my 3 year old. He was into it until he got the shot. Def didn’t work for him.

It helped a little, but even with my doctor using a baby needle, i still felt the sharp jab. I am deathly afraid of needles and wanted to try this. My doctor was willing and put it on me 2 minutes before the jab and we left it on for 3 minutes after. It did not work as well as i hoped and anticipated. I am bummed out. I knew i would still feel the needle but did not expect the jab to still be as sharp. I would say it reduced the jab by 20-30% max. I was hoping for 50-75%. It might work better for a kid under the age of 10. Maybe the cute bee will distract the little ones.

Used for the second round of my infant’s routine vaccines and there was a noticeable difference in how much less my infant cried when using the buzzy. The product is ok the expensive side, however it is worth the price to reduce the pain of shots. 10/10 recommend

I had higher expectations for such an expensive item, I bought it to gift a doctor friend, I hope it meets the functionality promise. Very simple box, opened inside the delivery, and not nicely stored accessories.
