Rockler Classic Rolling Library Ladder Kit, 8'H with 12' Track, Satin Black

This is excellent hardware. The ladder rolls quietly and easily. It moves so easily that the robot vacuum will push it across the room while cleaning.

Unbelievable. Don’t miss the tiny text at the bottom of the description: “ Must build the ladder it does not come with the kit”. Translated: Doesn’t come with the lumber / actual ladder. It took 2 months of back and forth thinking we weren’t shipped all the parts before they relied “doesn’t come with lumber, sold separately”. Uncool, and very misleading in nomenclature with the description. This product should be removed from Amazon until a new photo is posted that clearly says “does not include ladder”.

The product came in three shipments and it was not clear if we were going to get all the pieces. I should be clear that this kit does not come with the ladder itself ... that would be another $400.00

Worked out great. We own a Murphy Bed business and this was for a Murphy bed/Library combo. It was beautiful.

Hardware kits alone were from $100 - 250.00. This kit was $438.00 with pictures and mention of ladder with kit. Then received kit ---- no ladder. One sentence mentions bringing your own wood or buying one of their kits. Misleading and deceptive. I'm calling BS - I want a refund.

The ladder kit was a disappointment. Routing for steps was inconsistent, pre drilled holes were not in same locations or same angles. Wood was not the same thickness as the hardware...required significant work to fit.
