Oh man, I absolutely love this knife! It is heavy, but in a good way. It looks great and is EXTREMELY sharp. As I told my wife, you don’t need to fear the knife, but you better respect the knife, especially when washing it. If you get in a hurry washing this beast you will either pull back nubs, a mutilated sponge, or both. This thing goes through potatoes, onions, carrots, tomatoes, etc. like a dream. The only two things I would change about it would be for it to have a full tang and for the blade to be scalloped. Other than that, everything else is perfect. I would buy this knife again in a heartbeat. Once again, I can’t emphasize this enough, DO NOT underestimate how sharp this knife is.**Update**09 March, 2022: this knife still amazes me every time I use it. It still looks and feels as good as it did new out of the box and maintains a VERY sharp edge. Since I only use it to cut/chop vegetables and boneless meats, I cannot verify how well it would maintain its sharpness if I were to cut bone with it. Regardless, I didn’t buy it to hack bones and for what I use it for I couldn’t be happier with it.

Good handle, sharp. Worth the purchase.

only this cleaver and a Maestro wu D5 was the only 2 cleaver that i've found on YouTube to show chopping pork ribs clean , can't get better for the price , been using this for 2 years , love it

Mad shark was sharp out of the box. It is easy to sharpen to an even finer edge. The more I use it, the better I like it.

I like everything. It is awesome.

Knife arrived with case damage and the handle was cracked.
