The chalk sticks break too easily and are too fat for some of my sewing templates but it's extremely easy to refill and they mark very well. Those that say they can't get rid of the lines didn't use the right color for the job or made heavy marks, which you should not do. I've never had a problem with removing the lines I've made with this product and I've used all the colors...on the correct colored fabrics. The white is the easiest to remove.

I like them. They are super easy to use, just light pressure and it wow. Absolutely LOVE the little holder and it comes with a pencil sharpener. The other thing is HELLO, how many chalks it comes with is amazing! The downside is, the little chalks were broken inside the packaging, and they are a little hard to store so as not to be broken into a million pieces. Like I said not the sellers fault! This is all from the company that makes them. I also tried to was out the marks with with. Yeah, not so much!

Easiest marking tool available. Great for any sewing application. Easy to shave chalk to tiniest line for smallest applications. Love this product as I can trace any pattern on any color material.

The refills arrived with no breaks unlike what some other reviewers had happen, and surprisingly there was already a white chalk loaded into the pen. This chalk had its tip cracked off, but that was only a teeny portion.Use wise I have only had a chance to use it on a large nit fabric and it seems to mark lightly but well. The line is consistent, but as I said very light. This was white chalk on black and it was barely visible. Markings rubbed completely off with a couple movements of my thumb.

I dislike that most of the refills with the holder broke when I tried to remove the holder from the package. The second package without the holder has the chalk protected in a little box. This seems much smarter to me. I literally only have about 6 that are not broken from the white AND colors packaged with the holder. It's such a waste as they were broken so small they would be impossible to use in the holder.

These are perfect! Exactly as described and arrived with not a single chalk broken or cracked. Will definitely order again when I run out. Arrived quickly.
