I recently started taking Himalaya Organic Ashwagandha, and I’m genuinely impressed with how much it has helped me. I'm not sure if it's middle age or more significant stress, but the last few years I have really had difficulty sleeping. I've tried all manner of things including exercise, eating healthy, prescribed meds specifically for sleep (which I did not like at all), yoga before bed, a white noise machine, melatonin, some weird hemp pills my brother gave me to try, even a CPAP machine...all kinds of stuff. None of it has worked, and some of it has given me crazy dreams and left me really groggy and out of it the next day. Not fun at all! For the last several months I have been taking the Himalaya Organic Ashwagandha. I had been looking for something more natural and have talked to many people who suggested ashwagandha. I first tried a powder form from a different company, which wasn't super fun to take. Then I found Himalaya Organic Ashwagandha, which is in pill form, and it has helped quite a bit. I now have it on Subscribe and Save. I sleep much better, don't have strange dreams, and I don't feel drugged when I wake up. I have more energy than I've had in a while, which I don't necessarily attribute to the herb itself, but to the fact that I get better sleep. Ashwagandha is known to help relieve stress and I do feel slightly less edgy when I take it regularly. So, I've been trying to take it nightly now. I don't have any weird side effects or stomach issues with these pills, but they're a tad difficult to swallow. I don't know how to describe them...they're just the herb smashed into pill-form. They're not in a gel cap or anything, and they're dry. I break the pill in half (it's easy to do) and swallow each half separately, which makes it a lot easier. It just tastes like dried herbs or grass, nothing gross. I will happily taste grass to feel better overall.

I have used this product for several months now. I love that the caplet dissolves very quickly. It is gentle on an empty stomach and starts working quickly. As a registered dietitian, I strongly believe that Ashwagandha is a great product to help the body manage its stress response better. We can all use that! Ashwagandha has been used effectively for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Now that is the definition of "safe and effective"! I purchased this to help with better sleep at night but had no clue about the other amazing benefits. I have been using this for only a few days and feel so different! I have more energy, better focus, less foggy brain and my mood feels lighter/happier. My teenager has also been taking it and said he is noticing a huge difference too especially with staying focused at school. This truly might be an answer to my prayers. I do recommend taking it in the morning. I made the mistake of taking it at night and was awake most of the night.

Pienso que la Ashwagandha es un suplemento esencial para los hombres. Yo lo tomo en épocas con mucho desgaste físico y/o mental y me va de maravilla. Es un adaptógeno, ayuda a reducir el estrés, la ansiedad y la fatiga y a descansar mejor. Tiene también otros efectos beneficiosos documentados (ayuda a controlar la glucemia, aumenta la producción de testosterona, es neuroprotector, etc). No parece tener efectos secundarios importantes si se toma en dosis normales y durante una temporada, únicamente molestias gastrointestinales en personas sensibles. Si tomamos alguna medicación también tenemos que tener en cuenta posibles interacciones. El Ashwagandha puede bajar la glucemia, si tenemos diabetes y estamos tomando medicación para ello tendríamos que tenerlo en cuenta. Esta marca no es barata, pero está muy reconocida. Está fabricado en la India bajo unos altos estándares de calidad. No son cápsulas, son tabletas pequeñitas (ver foto) que se tragan con facilidad y solo hay que tomar una porque incluyen tanto la raíz en polvo, como su extracto, por lo que son más potentes que los suplementos que solo llevan raíz en polvo. Después de dos semanas tomándolo he notado mejora en el sueño y menos ansiedad. Estoy contento con la compra.
