Jacobs Kronung Whole Bean Coffee 500 Gram / 17.6 Ounce (Pack of 2)

This brand of coffee is one of our favorites. The quality of this German-style medium roast flavor is vastly superior than many other brands. The aroma is pleasing, with an overall smooth and mellow taste. Overall, if you like a good cup of coffee to start the day, this is an excellent choice. We like the whole beans, but usually get the ground as it is more convenient. And while it is more expensive than many other brands, in our estimation, it is worth the price.

Anyone who's been deployed, shopped at a US military commissary, or lived in Germany will recognize this. Europeans know coffee, and like most things in Germany, this coffee strikes a good balance between being bold yet staying in line. It's smooth and delicious and nutty, without being bitter or overbearing. The best 'every day' coffee. Shame it doesn't come in a bigger bag like 8 o'clock, and for a similar price! This will take you right back to your B-Hut in Afghanistan or other sunny destinations.

Outstanding German coffee have been using it for years and years

Not bad at all. I personally like a rich, flavorful coffee, but without the burned aftertaste which is popular with so many people now. The Jacobs fits the bill but unfortunately I cannot justify spending the money to use it all the time. Good for special occasions.

Despite the expiration date being several months out these two bags had barely any coffee smell when opened. Being familiar with the brand from living in Germany this was unexpected. The coffee was not at all flavorful. I was disappointed.

This coffee is the most delicious, aromatic, coffee I have ever had. I was introduced to German coffee at a German deli where I have lunch, and was pleased to find in on Amazon. With a little cream, this is like smooth caramel sliding across your tongue. I try not to drink more than 1 1/2 cups of coffee per day, but this coffee makes that very difficult to do.

This coffee is not produced in Germany ! Was produced in Poland, coffee not vacuum sealed taste is terrible. DO NOT BUY ! Not eligable for return ! Make sure to purchase from Jacobs store.
