Bought these rails to replace the ones on the back of my Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 1000 bass cab. The installed Mesa rails are a hollow plastic and one smack against a stage step the rail crushed. Swapped the upper rails to the bottom and a few months later, BAMMM !! Same thing happened. I didn't want to drop the money on new Mesa rails to only have it happen again so I went in search of some trusty skate rails. The red pops nicely and oddly enough they tend to come up in conversation at shows.

These are fine and good price. they came with proper screws.

The only cool thing these had going is the glow in the dark, otherwise they are a waste of time and money. Let me explain , the screws are not long enough and will fall out ( they are not pan head screws like in the photo) I had my rail fall off on my 3 rd run in the park. And looked like a kook. If you get #8 1/2 inch pan head wood screws you can lock hem down, but they ripped apart after minor use. So I don’t recommend these unless you like to be frustrated and waste your time .

Rails are uniform and made of a good hard plastic. Slide well and are very fast. Only issue I have is the screws don't hold well in my board. I use a Santa Cruz VX deck, and the 4 of 8 screws needed to be replaced after a few sessions because they fell out, or wouldn't hold any longer. Ended up using a larger, slightly longer screw.

The rails are quality but the hardware that comes with it is trash. Will strip put your hole or pull out of the board really easily. And if you test one before you actually put it on your board you will see that there is no way to get the screw to go in further than about 1/16th-1/8th of an inch. So basically it only goes into the first ply. I switched out the hardwear to some wood screws I had lying around that were about 3/8ths of an inch long and they have worked way better. Also, you couldn’t get it tight enough and not strip the wood out to stop it from making lots of noise while doing tricks. The new screws solved that problem. Now it’s quiet and attached well.

I’ve used a single pair on a few decks now and they are amazing. I skate about five times a week and put these through the wringer and I’m so impressed. I bought a different brand to test out on a different deck and regretted it immediately. These are super durable and hold up amazingly. My ONLY gripe was that he screws they come with suck but I just replaced with wood screws and it was amazing. Still gets five stars in my books
