This is a nice manifold kit for DIY automotive use. The hoses, valves, and connections are all high quality with no apparent leaks. The gauges are easy to read. Great value for the money.

I initially got these to replace a HF set that i used twice and then the high side coupling leaked like a sieve, the first set of Mastercool gauges i purchased were defective, the needle on the high side gauge looked like a dogs back leg and as a result couldn't be read with any degree of accuracy, i returned them and Amazon expeditiously shipped me a replacement which i received on Sunday and i used them today(Friday ) the set seems well built i like that they fit great just finger tight and don't leak, hopefully the seals will hold up and i will be able to use this set many times, i like the case, i think the gauges will fit back in still attached to the hoses with a bit of wrestling, overall nice item.

This is junk. The high side quick connect would not open so I could not see the high side pressure. The valves on the manifold would not work either. I purchased this one because it was more expensive and hoped it would be good but it wasn't. I am past the return date so it looks like I will have to purchase a different product. Do not buy the mastercool!

I needed to do some ac work and wanted a set of quality gauges and decided to give theae a try. Out of the box they seem well made and a nice storage case included. I went with this set over some of the the cheaper ones because of the manual couplers, sight glass on the manifold and the included UV dye injector. Hooking up the couplers and being able to adjust them manually will help preventing damage to the valves which is a plus. All the connections seem very solid, the gauges are easy to see and read. The hoses are nice and long amd felxable. The UV dye injector is a nice touch and better than buying specific dye cans or just pouring dye into a hose. Easy to add dye winout hooking up the full gauge setup. Overall seems like a nice gauge setup with some very useful extras that make it well worth the price.

I have been wanting a set of gauges just for automtive uselI was just about bought a Harbor Frieght set and call it good. I'm glad I went for the upgrade! The gauges, manifold bar, and hand valves seem to be well made and reliable. It has "dummy plugs" on the side to hang the blue and red hose from when not in use but, not the yellow! all the ports on the manifold are the standard 1/2" ACME fittings. All the hoses are ACME on one end. The yellow is ACME on both ends. The red and blue hose have 1/4" male pipe thread with an O-ring. These are for attaching to the quick connect fittings that are included. The middle port on the manifold has a T with another ACME fitting with a schrader in it. You can use this to attach a vacuum gauge or purge non-condensable from the hoses before charging. All-in-all a great, complete kit!

Thought it was missing a part. Later found it when I opened the box it fell out. Good deal. Canceled return

Great set for the price. I do dozens of vehicles per week and this set held up fairly decently. I did end up upgrading to yellow jacket Titan but more so for the dedicated vacuum line. The perfect set for someone who may only do a few vehicles per week!
