Excellent product, looks good and keeps the coffee warm

Omg this is the best cafetiere I have ever had. I've always had glass ones and the glass always eventually broke. This is so sturdy, keeps the coffee mega hot and is so easy to clean. Honestly I cannot recommend it enough. I'm a convert. Quality product in lovely packaging. Lovely inside and out.

What's there to dislike... It's very well made. Solid.... Beautiful.... Easy to use a and to clean. I love it.

Keeps the coffe warm a little bit longer. Looks great but you can chip the surface if not careful. Be gentle pushing the plunger down or it'll spoil your morning cuppa! The trick is to push the plunger down and up a little to start with until it moves freely without resistance.

Works well as a French press but this black paint looks flaky and is already starting to peel off after ONE WEEK!

Quality goods

I needed a new 1 litre stainless steel press after I donated my previous one to my mother's personal kitchenette in her care home for when I or members of my brother's family visit her and are able to obtain cups of coffee from a decent sized coffee press, which had been impossible with my mum's smaller single-cup sized one. I am quite chuffed with the rugged black outer casing on this 'Secura' cafetiere and really like the indicator triangle on the lid which allows it to be positioned correctly for pouring. I am a big fan of the double walled heat insulation idea and am glad I chose this coal-black outer finish over the brushed and polished stainless steel options as it just adds to the chunky no-messin' aspect of the vessel. Sehr schönes Design, hält lange warm

This press is as described. Really cool black finish, hand washes really easy and nice. The instructions are good to brew an awesome cup of coffee. Overall solid unit!

Update Feb 2021 Yep she still gives me the eyeball in the morning. But at least she has coffee in her hand. I have yet to replace the filter. I would say 1 out of 5 or 6 uses I give a good cleaning and split apart the filter...while she is waiting for her cup 😉 ...thus the eye ball Wow!! I have used a few French press in the past. Here are a few observations. 1) extra bonus filer sceens. Nice!!! Thanks for adding them. This is a great bonus. 2) double wall insulation. Finally!! No burns and it keeps my coffe hot for cups 2 and 3! 3) stainless construction. Its sexy!.... well as far as a French press is concerned. Perfect to pack and won't break. My other presses....i was scared to break washing or putting boiling water in. Last one burst....huge mess and burnt toes. 3.5) size matters. There is enough for my wife (coffee hog) and for me. Nothing is worse than a morning battle over coffee. 4) great cup of coffee. Hint use medium course ground not fine. Fresh ground if possible..... Boiling water, a good stir and let it sit for 3 min. And vola... no more hating morning's. No more wife giving me the evil eyeball over snoring. 5) it filters great, no grounds in my cup...this is a first for me. All other presses have let grounds get in... My intent was to get this for work. I travel alot now and hotel coffee tastes like hot water over gym socks. I might have to get another so one can be at home.

Schnelle Lieferung. Die schwarze Ausführung ist an der Oberfläche sehr rau ähnlich wie diese neuartigen beschichteten Pfannen. Ungewöhnlich aber nicht unangenehm. Filterleistung super, nur minimal feines Kaffeemehl im Kaffeesatz. Aroma sehr gut.

Pros: - Resistente. Al ser de metal es muy difícil que la rompas. Llevo tres de cristal en un año, esperemos esta nos dure mucho más de un año. - Calidad. Se siente muy bien hecha, de buena calidad, además es muy bonita. - Funcionalidad. Además de hacer café, como era de esperarse, mantiene la temperatura por bastante tiempo, y por fuera no se calienta, por lo que el riesgo de quemarte es mínimo. Contras: - Peso. Es pesada, al ser de acero y estar aislada, lo cual puede ser un problema para personas mayores, o con movilidad limitada.
