I was introduced to this product by my sister. I love love, love the way it smells! If you are familiar with essential oils, I would describe the scent as a base of rose, with a hint of lemon, rose Geranium, and sandalwood. It is light and floral, and yet has a soft base note. I get many compliments from people men and women when I am in near proximity. It’s not the kind of scent that shouts out far distance, but definitely noticeable nearby.It is absorbed into the skin without making it greasy and softens my skin. I suffer from chemical sensitivities so I am always looking for products that are natural or lightly scented that do not offend my health issues.

My all time favourite hand cream, I've been using it for several years and have it on subscribe and save. It smells natural, like a fresh bouquet of roses with a bit of a romantic parfum. I wash my hands a LOT and they get very dry. This takes a minute to absorb but my skin instantly feels refreshed and soft.

I don't like that Amazon tends to lump the reviews for different formulations of a product together but whatever. This review is for the Dry Body Oil. LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this!! I have been searching for a soliflore rose de mai perfume for years and have found some that are wonderful, but kind of costly. And I wanted something that would layer well with a body cream (non-scented). Well I can't get Serge Lutens Sa Majeste La Rose right now so I had to check for less pricey. This oil is a beautiful, classic rose scent. Combined with a nice fragrance free body cream or French Girl Organics Lotion (Rose) and you are in heaven. And it lasts most of day (the scent). Sarah Horowitz body cream works well too if you want to spend more money on moisturizing cream. I wish I knew about this 10 years ago.

Pre de Provence is always consistent. The rose scent was lovely, but I could only experience in the padded mailer since the stopper was broken and oil was all over. Amazon refunded the price, but you might want to consider the delicacy of the when ordering since the flimsy cardboard box and padded mailer were not enough to protect it during shipping.

I enjoy the scent of the Rose de Mai. Although, I prefer a more "natural"lotion, this one's scent is so good,that I keep it for my hands.

This is a thick creamy moisturizer, not watery or thin. The smell is nice but doesn’t linger for too long. I don’t use it daily but when I do I can still see the moisturizing effect on my skin the following day. Have very dry skin and should make it a daily habit.

Although the ingredients list looks complicated, most of what is listed consists of natural oil derivatives that are of, at most, low concern (safe to eat). There are no parabens or paraffins or other known bad actors. The one ingredient that gives me pause is "parfum" or fragrance. It's kind of like the "natural and artificial flavors" of skin care. What is it? We don't know. Could be anything.Other than that, I really love this lotion. Rose de Mai is one of my all time favorite scents, and the lotion softens without plumping you up or pulling moisture from elsewhere in your body. It soaks right in and doesn't leave behind a strong fragrance, just a hint of roses. It costs quite a bit more than a regular drugstore lotion, but it's really really nice.

This cream saves my skin from the dry air in my house! The aroma of roses is divine! this is not my last order!
