Very easy to install
My 2003 Monte Carlo trunk actuator stopped working… I could hit the release button, and I could hear a motor run for a couple seconds, but trunk would not pop open. Found the part on Amazon, and it even had matching part numbers. Ordered part, and got in less than 2 days. The part easily installs with 2 screws and a single connector, and probably took about 3 minutes. Success! We’ll see how long it lasts…

Life be that way sometimes.
I bought a 93 caprice 8 yrs ago. 6 years ago the trunk started malfunctioning. I had no idea what it was. I went all this time banging on my trunk to get it open. It turned out to be a cheap fix. Brought this part and it worked perfectly. Very easy to install.
