This works great! Fits well in the hole I drilled in my car dashboard and the locking nut tightens it all up well. The only thing is there is no way of locking the USB male to female with this so I electrical taped the life out of the joint as it will be up behind the dashboard and I didn't want it to come apart. Other than this, 2 months down the line and it's working well 👍

The item arrived on time and was in standard packaging. I drilled a 25mm hole into the wooden frame this was bought for and then connected it to the USB port on the device. The extention port works as it should. I did not use the supplied mounting hardware as it was not needed. I would happily recommend this item to family and friends.

I bought this to use with a modified Ford 6000 head unit in my MK4 Mondeo. It does work but for some reason my [USB 2.0] flash drive takes 2-3 minutes to fully 'initialize' before it plays any tracks, playing the 7th track as the 1st for some reason (it does this every time). This is more than likely due to either the flash drive itself or the head unit, as it was a fairly cheap and cheerful affair, so I won't knock any major stars off the review. I did find the USB port tight and tricky to get the flash drive properly inserted however, and wasn't expecting that, but no big deal. Really pleased with it overall and once playing it is super reliable. Very happy with it!

Our Peugeot boxer campervan stereo only allows music streaming from our phones via a USB port in a central glovebox. We’ve connected this item to that USB port, and installed it in a spare pre-drilled hole for a second cigarette lighter that was originally blanked off; its cable is concealed behind the dash. With this we can more easily and quickly swap which phone is connected without having to get to the awkward port in the central glovebox; the problem being is that we have phones that require different cables. Now we have a USB port that can be easily reached and covered up when not in use. Music streams fine using this and it also doesn’t hinder charging. A great improvement for the cost!

Good quick delivery, However the cable is a metre long which was stated on the advert it turned out to be too short for my application, that was my fault I should have order one with a 1.5 m cable. Unit works ok
