Magnet Square Is Adhesive Backed And Powerful- Lifts Up To 1/2 Lb. (Pkg of 50)

I bought this to reinforce a "magnetized" calendar I got for my refrigerator. The magnets that came with it could not hold the weight of the calendar, which is ridiculous. I bought these and needed to add 8 of these to hold it up strongly. I am very happy with them and will save the rest for another project. The calendar is about 12 x 14 and weighs about a pound. Not strong. Good for holding a paper to a steel surface

I bought these to hang a 16" x 48" piece of 1/8" mirror plexi to a metal wall. I put twelve of these squares on the back. I do not know how much the mirror weighs, but it cannot be more than two or three pounds at the very most. Twelve of these keep the mirror in contact with the metal, but it slides down the wall until it touches the floor. I am now shopping for different magnets. This says that they hold 1/2 pound. Take that information with care. Not BAD magnets, but not as strong as the information here seems to imply.

Bought these to use on our security system on double-hung windows to allow the window to still open without knocking off the magnet. They work, but just barely able to do the job. Need to place the magnet in just the right position and sometimes I used 2. Overall, I'm pleased, but these magnets were not nearly as strong as I anticipated.

2002 mini cooper glove box, the quick fix!The latch starts to go and the cheapest way to repair is an adhesive magnet. However, these do not stick as well as I had anticipated. But I am still happy with them. They did the job and saved me $500.00Mini Cooper Glove Box latch can not be bought on its own and then installed. You must order a whole new glove box. Money saving trick.

I ended up using these way more than I even expected. I hung a mirror on a metal door, I use two of them between cabinet doors that don't want to stay closed. I hang my daughter's 3D art on the fridge. I keep finding new uses for them. Luckily, there were a bunch in the package!

Not strong enough to hold anything

I purchased this product for a project of many. My requirements were for this magnet to repel each other and other magnets.They don't much at all.These will attract to steel very well and thats it.The description of the product should have explained their limitations.
