24K GOLD- ✓ ✨
I bought the crystal powder like over 6 years ago and I used it a bit back then but overall not that much.. although it’s very pretty and is amazing for a plethora of crafts and art pieces, I just do different projects with more color now. The gold however, I use a lot more of and LOVE. Especially when comparing to basic gold micas, this 24k gold pigment is 10x better especially for my uses, like in paints, custom ink mixes, and some resin pieces where I use it in different places to highlight areas and such. It’s a good amount for the price and the quality is top notch as I’ve tried 3 other metallic gold powders by now and this has been my favorite. A side note- If you don’t know what kind of gold powder or whether to get a regular mica or a gold mica metallic pigment like this Unicone brand, try researching to know if you’re wanting a gold ‘metallic pigment/powder’ and not just a gold mica powder, because they are different and sometimes the names can throw you off. In a few cases & projects, they could probably achieve somewhat similar results but it’s likely to still notice a difference between their finishes. I would suggest buying an affordable gold mica powder or a set of them and then buying this gold metallic to see which kind works best for your uses. Whoops that was long.

Beautiful shine!
“Excellent mica powder with a gorgeous shimmer. The crushed crystal effect really stands out and looks beautiful in crafts and resin projects. High quality and a great value.”

Highly, Highly Recommended
I absolutely love this stuff, if you do resin crafts a want some sparkle look no further than here. This stuff is so sparkly that it only takes a tiny amount of it, I love this stuff so much I bought 3 jars when they finally got it back in stock because there is nothing out there that even comes close to this crushed crystal. The quality is superior and it is very easy to mix in your resin the more you mix the more sparkle you get because it keeps breaking it up. You definitely get a lot for your money it comes very well sealed and packaged so it doesn’t spill out. I love the price too, well worth every penny. Highly, recommend.

works as stated
This acts like glitter not mica but a tiny bit goes a long way! It makes the whole piece seem to sparkle with little stars. Love this!

I AM OBSESSED
This works in everything!!! It’s so gorgeous and a little goes a long way. It’s the most high quality stuff I can find that does this effect. It doesn’t sink in the resin. I LOVE IT

Not for resin pouring. Looks GREAT otherwise
I used this both in a resin pour and as a coating for a resin statue. and I have different opinions on the item. For the resin pour, the mica was dulled and antiqued. not at all what I expected from a "24K Gold" powder. I was highly disappointed. The resin was a clear, fast cure 2 part epoxy and other mica powders come out brilliantly. this was not the case with this powder. It *might* work better being "painted" onto the surface of the mold and then having a resin poured in. I've not tried that yet. The second thing I did was 3D print a statue, spray it with a matte clear coat, and then toss it in a bag with this powder and shake. (using the clear coat as a type of "glue" to make the mica powder stick. Once I brushed off the excess, it looked STUNNING. Even after another protective layer of clear coat, the gold is beautiful. tl;dr: I would not recommend this mica powder for putting IN resin. either try putting it on the molds and then pouring the resin in, or use it as something to go over your model (if 3D printing)

Yes this is pricey but you don't use hardly any and the result in my resin projects is absolutely stunning. Will last for a very long time.

I'd heard from some of the reviews here that this settles to the bottom. I found the larger bits settled, but the smaller bits remained suspended in resin. It is a little heavy, so if you're using it for resin, make sure you wait for the resin to go to just before the honey-stage before pouring. Also, hold your breath when using it, wear a respirator, and don't use it in a place with a draught, as it will go everywhere. I peeled the seal back just enough to poke a stick in, and still had errant bits of glitter float through the room!

I am a amateur resin crafter and make keychains. I added Unicorn to black resin and they keychains turned out brilliant. You only need a tiny amount. This jar will last a long time.
