Skippyjon Jones: Color Crazy

My 2 year old daughter LOVES Skippyjon Jones... I've bought all the board books for her that are available & am planning to buy the picture books as well. I personally love & enjoy the drawings, they are SO life-like to how a cat acts & looks, right down to the mischievousness in his eyes & his little front teeth. She loves his antics and all the things she can look at, point to, and the words she can try to repeat.Can't recommend these books enough for toddlers. Don't know about yours, but even though she LOVES for me to read to her, her attention span doesn't hold long w/ very many books. These have consistently been her favorites for a long while now, I'm quite certain she'll enjoy them for a long time to come.Cheers,Single Mama of Dexy Girl

All the skippyjom books are a hit with my 18 month old, but shape up is still our favorite... I only gave it 3 stars because I bought 3 books together and the way they were packaged they were all bent when I got them.. I tried weighing them down to get the shape right, but hasn't worked yet.. 5 stars for the stories themselves!

niece loves these books

My son is 1 and does not yet have the patience to sit through a full Skippy John Jones book. He loves looking through the book and helping me turn the pages. It's just long enough for him to be happy to sit in my lap while I read it, but short enough that I'm done before he's trying to get up and move on to another task. I can usually 2-3 of the Skippy John Jones board books before he's ready for another activity.

Love this series from Judy Schachner. Whether its hardcover or the soft cover version, the books are wonderful, adventurous stories that your children will want you to read over and over again!

These books are wonderful for all children, However, I have a bi-lingual niece and nephew who these books were absolutely perfect for! They are fun and exciting with a great play on imagination for children. FANTASTIC books...the whole series!

I guess the true test of a book is how many times you have to read it. Well I'm at approximately one billion for the skippyjonjones board books. They're short, sweet, teach a fun quick lesson, and baby can't get enough!

Great book

I love this book series and bought this book because I can't stand your usual 'this is ______ (insert color here) books'. This one is imaginative, different, and wont make you want to rip your eyes out after reading it a thousand times.
