Best sewer hose - don't waste your $ on anything else!
Edit:Well unfortunately one of my hoses has split open, but I do think it's my fault. I've had them for a little over a year so that's still pretty impressive compared to other hoses. My sewer hook up is pretty far away and I was stretched to the max. I have the hose on a support and an attempt was made to create a p trap where the hose connects to the camper. Since my hose is stretched to its limit, the bottom of the p trap was suspended above the ground and the weight of it holding water split the hose, as you can see in the picture. To prevent this from happening to you I suggest fully supporting the hose and don't allow water to "hang" in the hose unsupported. If not for this I think it would have lasted quite a bit longer than it did. I've ordered another set and will now have an extra 10 feet of hose so this shouldn't be a problem for me in the future. I'm not changing my rating because I do feel that this was my fault and these hoses are fantastic!-----Original review:I will have had this hose for a year next month. I am a full timer so my hose is out 24/7, 365. The only time it's in storage is if I'm rolling down the road. It comes as two pieces because it does not compress down as much as the other hoses do (I assume). If I can get away with using only one piece, I do. More on that later.Despite one of the hoses being out in the elements a lot more than the other, you can't tell. Honestly both halves still look brand new. The color has not faded at all. There is no cracking, both pieces are still very flexible, and neither have become brittle from sitting in the sun.My son has huge feet and very little spatial awareness lol, and he has stepped on my hoses and ruined several, so when I saw a video review comparing all the different hoses I knew I had to have this one. It's been stepped on I don't know how many times and you can't even tell. I even had to lay on it once to work on the underside of the camper (in freezing rain, no time to move the hose lol) and again, you'd never know by looking at it how much abuse it has suffered. Thankfully it's never been run over (that I know of), but I have no doubt it would pop right back up if it was. My brother was so impressed he bought not one set, but two, and he is a penny pincher! Now - as to why I only use one piece instead of both if I can help it... they are a booger bear for me to separate. But I'm getting older and my hands are definitely not as strong as they used to be and my elbows and shoulders are also trashed. I have a terrible time getting the two halves apart, especially if it's cold out. Most of the time I'm traveling with family and I can ask one of the guys to help me. But if I'm alone I can usually hold the connection in front of my tailpipe and warm it up enough to get them apart, but it's definitely still a struggle for me. I spend probably 10 to 15 minutes every time getting them undone. If you are a man, or have a man to do stinky slinky duty for you, you'll probably have no issue lol.I store my hoses in my bumper and due to their lack of compression (they are sort of springy compared to other hoses) and what I assume is rust in my bumper, they can be a chore to get in. I can only push them in so far before I reach the point of no return and they are almost irretrievable. It's a tight fit. If I don't get them in far enough they tend to spring out and flop in the wind.I have the camco magnetic bumper caps, which lock onto the end of the hose and the magnets hold them in place, but every once in a while the springy nature of the hose overpowers the magnets and I will notice it's dangling out a few inches. The caps have, thankfully, held onto the hose and I've managed to not lose either one of the caps. That would really break my heart because i ordered a 2 pack of those caps here on amazon for $25 and only received one cap. Due to my ignorance, I started a return and in the notes I stated that I only received one cap and thought theyd send me a replacement that actually had 2 caps in it but again received only one cap. We were leaving and I didn't have time to argue with them so i wound up paying $50 for 2 of them and im still a little salty about it. I do a walk around every time we stop and I double check that my hose and my caps aren't trying to escape. If you plan on storing these in your bumper just be forewarned that they can potentially be a bit of a pain since they don't compress down like the other hoses. If you have regular bumper caps they could possibly pop the cap off at an inopportune time.Despite all my struggles getting my hoses in and out of my rusty bumper, there are no signs of scuffing or damage to the ribs of the hose. This bad boy is durable. No metal ribs exposed and rusting like my old hoses. No crunched up sections from misplaced footsteps. No tears or holes from a bent metal rib. I really don't know why any of the other hoses are even an option, or why anyone would waste their money on them after having these. Yes, these are expensive hoses, but they are worth their weight in gold. They are rugged and almost indestructible when used as intended. Believe me, with all we've thrown at them over the last year, they have proven to be worth every penny.Despite my struggles separating the two halves and getting them into my bumper, the peace of mind I have knowing they can hold up to whatever we throw at them outweighs my struggles. I'd definitely purchase them again.Even if you aren't a full timer, this would be money well spent and might be the only hose you'd ever need. If you are a full timer.... don't waste your money on anything else. This is the stinky slinky you've been looking for. It's the best, trust me I've tried the rest and they simply do not compare! I definitely expect to get another year out of these hoses and probably even more than that! Good job camco! I'm still slightly salty about the bumper caps, but you've been somewhat redeemed by making this awesome hose!

Must Have For An RV
Gotta have these if you have an RV or LQ Horse trailer. Great product really, except that the parts that are in full sun, they get brittle and then start leaking. I've had some last a year or longer and then others that didn't make it two months! For the cost, I would want them to last much longer as these are not cheap items.

Can't poop without it (well I wouldn't want to anyway)!
The Camco Rhino Extreme 20-Foot RV Sewer Hose Kit is an absolute must-have for every camper out there. We bought this when we got our camper, and it has been rock solid through a full summer of use. This thing is tough! Even after months of wear and tear, it still looks brand new. What impressed me the most is how durable it is. We’ve had no leaks, no cracks, and absolutely no headaches. It’s super easy to connect, flexible enough for any setup, and holds up like a champ. It's one of those essential items that you don’t want to skimp on, and this one’s worth every penny. If you want something reliable, hassle-free, and built to last, I highly recommend this sewer hose kit. It's a game-changer for your RV setup—no stress, just smooth sailing!

Quality Hose
Going on my fourth year living on my own in a fifth wheel. So I've gone through a few hoses for one reason or another and these, so far, have been the best.Very important tip for everyone:When the hose arrives, it will be in its shortest form, leave it that way until you are ready to install it. The reason is: it is so much easier to extend it a little then try to make it smaller, especially when you probably have to be on the ground under your camper RV.
