Endurance Egg Spoons Stainless Steel Set of 4

Before ordering this spoon, I purchased the plastic kind (with the little chicken feet base - quite cute) and egg cup. The cup worked fine, but the plastic spoon was thick and had little traction in getting the eggs out of the shell. It was a struggle, and I still couldn't get all of the egg out.No such problem with this spoon. The stainless steel is not too thin and not to thick (no chance of breaking the shell with it). And it is long enough (5-1/2") to get to the egg's bottom without struggle. I think it works perfectly.It also has a smart European design. Don't know how it could be better!

With this purchase, expanding original set of four to eight (company coming)! Here's how we use them: soft/hard boiled eggs, applesauce cups, ice cream, yogurt, taste testing recipes, divided serving plates for tv watching, and who knows what else... The brushed stainless handles go nicely with stainless steel daily-use eating utensils. The weight & length are perfect for using in a yogurt or applesauce cup on a tv tray. A normal teaspoon would knock over those lightweight plastic cups. Consider it worth the cost. Nice addition to kitchen inventory.

Great spoons, perfect fit! Just love these for enjoying my soft boiled eggs! I got a set of 12 little salt & pepper shakers so we can all have our own as we dig into perfectly cooked soft oiled eggs my husband thought he'd never like them. He doesn't, he loves them. Such a great breakfast treat. I also like them for lunch & for dinner with fresh bangers. They are so yummy! At Jon Georges we had an appetizer of medium profile eggs topped w/ caviar. Now I can. Recreate it at home when we can't get to Jon Georges. So yummy & happy memories. Try hem you will love rhem too! Well packaged & delivered timely.

These spoons are extremely functional. Their size is perfect, not too small, not to large. The radius of the the spoon perfectly matches the bottom of an egg, so scraping the whites is an easy task. I previously used baby spoons which were pointier and didn't cleanly scrape the whites. These spoons look good, with a highly polished "bowl" end and a brushed stainless handle. The reason they don't get 5 stars is that they aren't very "substantial" They are stamped out of relatively thin metal and do not have heft or thickness that I like in a spoon. Still, the price was very economical, so I didn't expect more metal weight.

These have become some of the most popular spoons in the house - especially for desserts. I originally bought them for soft-boiled eggs, which they are perfect for. But they are a fun little shape, very sturdy and fit very nicely in the hand. We now use them for ice cream, yogurt, a spoon for serving condiments or spices, soft-boiled eggs, etc. Had my first set for over a year. They go in the dishwasher contantly and come out without scratches. Just bought another set because there is never a clean one when I want it!

Tired of spoons not fitting the opening of your soft boiled egg? Well, this spoon is great cause it has the perfect fitting for that first grab without making a mess. Really liked them. They feel nice to the touch and are beautiful. I am buying my second set now.

I have tried numerous other egg spoons before finding these. The biggest problem with most egg spoons is the shape of the bowl does not work well with the shape of the inside of an egg. Most spoons are either too pointy and cannot scrape the far end of the egg, or too thick and leave egg behind.This spoon works as wanted. It is small enough to fit through the hole made by most egg toppers/knives, but large enough to get a decent mouthful of food. It is thin enough (perhaps a bit thinner than needed) to clean the inside of an egg shell with one pass and shaped to work the far end of the egg, again in one pass.They also make great tasting spoons when tasting foods. I can have several of these spoons in my sleeve pocket and not feel weighed down.
