Exactly what it says
Excellent quality paper and cover. Bound really well although time is usually the only way to tell how well things like that hold up. As far as the description of the product goes, it's exactly as it says. Writing prompts at the top of each page to help you build your world. Imagination is obviously required. I mainly bought this to help develop the homebrew world me and my PCs are playing through at the moment. It's also a great tool for solo-ing.

THE PERFECT GIFT FOR THE TRULY FAN OF D&D
Is a journal diary I don't understand what the people say on this reviews, the text reveal what is it a DIARY , is obviously that comes empty. Is designed for really fans of D&D is just for collection nobody says its essentials, it's beautiful and a perfect gift.

Not what you might want from a "Worldbuilders Journal"
I was quite excited for this and feel a little silly for not doing more research. The prompts aren't particularly focused on building one world and some aren't worldbuilding at all and are instead character specific such as "Describe Your Last Critical Miss". Pretty much all the prompts are self-contained, such as ones which provide you with an existing concept such as "people in this world reincarnate into animals" and asks you to write about that. As a tool for building a world this is pretty much useless. But this book would be suitable if you're justlooking for a series of one-off writing prompts to get your creative juices flowing.

Less worldbuilding, more character-building
I bought this expecting it to help flesh out and craft a world. At best this journal indirectly shapes parts of a world with the greater focus being on 'you' (as in a character). This would be fine if I wanted a character building journal, but I didn't. I wanted something that would help me to fashion something wider than the experiences of an individual. Something that might assist me with building a world. Very disappointing. In terms of quality, the paper is nice enough, the cover is attractive and it has a decent number of pages. The prompts will probably help someone who has the vaguest concept of a character or wants to add more depth to a character they're creating. I'm not overly fond of the size, I'd have preferred something closer to A4, but it's a decent size for carrying around or taking to your D&D sessions.

I feel the name is misleading
So, what you get is a good quality notebook (always useful) with prompts on the top of each page that will help you think about and develop a character. So, why is it billed as a 'Worldbuilder's Journal to Legendary Adventures'? That title to me suggests it is a DM's tool to build a RPG world. Instead I think it's just a notebook for a PC, but without the mapping pages.

No contents page, random weird questions.
The different topics are randomly thrown into random pages of the book and with no order and no contents page, makes this book impossible to navigate quickly and I xan never use it in my games unless I rip out the pages and organise it myself but even then half the pages will be lost as it is Doubble sided. Terrible formation of a book, would not recommend.

Not worth the purchase
It's basically just an overpriced notebook. Definitely not worth the money

This book is literally a Journal, but I love it! I purchased it to come up with those random missions and encounters in my realm when I'm very stumped and for that purpose it's serving me very well. It doesnt lay out to much for you (which I'm creative so I prefer that) Instead it gives you a writing prompt/question which helps spark any with writers block into an idea for a small mission or story or even major arch. Example: Actually in book : "Think about a child that has been affected by the actions of you or your party, how did crossing paths with you change this child's life? perhaps you actually burned down their village or saved the child from a Monster's attack. What is this child like as a result. My own written inspiration: "A child is missing - During his usual test flight Glimburn Gizcheck lost his son Flimble somewhere North of Emeralstone City. It was the boys first test flight without a co-pilot, everything seemed to be going okay but then Flimble never returned home, His dad Glimburn noticed he'd forgotten his teleport crystal. The father is offering a large sum of gold to bring him home. (Evil players could try to steal his stone and learn a messy secret. Good players could return him for the bounty.)" The small prompt gave me an entire arch idea around my town and how these stones will play a role for characters. Secondly It gave me a child who can either go missing and be found by the party thus creating an Ally and maybe spy for them at a later date or an enemy when upon returning he finds his stone missing or destroyed or even his father dead yikes. If you are not a creative person I would suggest a more in depth journal, or if you're looking for a journal with a stats or npc section this isn't for you as it is literally a journal and only has a small prompt for each page and a blank section to write in. for me It's perfect for my need and I like having a hard copy inspirational book versus internet searching ideas when stumped for what could happen in this tavern differently from the other 10 they've already visited type of thing.

A very thick journal with decent quality paper. I reccomend pen or paper as felt top marker pens blend through when I tested them. Each page features a prompt and lines below to fill in ideas and an area to date your entry. Some prompts refer to specific events or places within DND lore while others are more open ended. For people who tend to homebrew campaigns and characters these can be a little limiting creatively. Some prompts focus on character building while others focus on overall world building. One prompt is about how your playable character would look and act if they were transformed into a goat. Depending on how large you write or how detailed you'd like to be there is room to write shorter ideas for multiple characters. I recently began a campaign with some newbie players and used some prompts as ice breakers to help with character creation.

So. It's just literally notebook for 350 pages. Over the page stay some tips, like in video game. All pages are lined. Gorgeous art in frontpage, but, it's just a notebook. No empty pages, no doted pages. I'm quite disappointed
