Perfect Level Every Time
I bought this to help me get everything straight when building a couple of walls in my front drive. I'm not a brickie but I've done enough building and house renovating over the years to feel comfortable making a reasonable job of it if taking my time and as such like to make sure that my lines are set up properly. I'm not that good that I can compensate for a rubbish setup. So I bought this to help. And it does.Simple to site on it's supplied legs or magnetic holder you can guarantee a proper straight level for any job you need to do. I had in stock an old tripod off a cheapo laser sight from a billion years ago and the threaded bottom was a perfect match for the 1/4" thread. It also comes with the same thread as fitted to a camera bottom which I believe is 1/8" Whitworth. You basically unlock the gymbal using the slide switch at the side and then turn it on. This lock also doubles up as a power off to make sure you don't leave it on when storing it and prevents the swinging laser from getting knocked about in transit.Once on you get a horizontal green line and a vertical one which as long as you are within the pendulum range of the suspended light will perfectly self level.Once you have those lines you can work up or down to suit your requirement with guaranteed accuracy and no sag which, you do get with a long string. Now, like other lasers of this type the fact is that in bright daylight you do struggle to see the line. Unless the laser is amped up to military levels - and walking in front of it might end your DIY job there and then - you have to try and compensate for this.To help, included within the kit is a green plastic gauge which you put on the expected line and in theory the green laser line will show up better. In practice in daylight this does not show up all that well. Instead what I did find better was a shiny bit of metal. Maybe a mirror would work even better. This allowed me to see the green light quite well and then mark out the brick line.Better still pre-prep your job when the sun is a bit lower or in the evening when the laser light is very easy to see.Overall, I'm very pleased with this because it does just what I want. It gives me a good level to work from.

Brilliant bit of kit if you want to be accurate.
Love this level! Have used it for many different applications. Would be the perfect level if you could move the lasers without touching the unit but maybe that's asking a bit much.Visibility is great but be aware that in bright sunshine it's not going to be much use - I believe this is a limitation on all of these type of units though...

Works very well.
I bought the Huepar green, self-levelling laser 5011G because I initially wanted to concrete a south facing, exterior, concrete terrace, 9 metres long by 4 metres wide.I also chose the USB rechargeable model, because I didn’t want to mess about with external rechargeable batteries. This Huepar level also offers the pulse option if I ever needed a pulse receiver for outdoor work.My first impressions of the unit were favourable. It comes with a protective case, which houses everything and it all felt solid and looked well made. The magnets on the supplied mounting bracket are wickedly strong, so there is no fear of the level falling off or moving out of alignment once attached to, say, a metal column or a radiator. The controls are simple to follow and consist of the long or short activation sequences of the on/off button that I’ve encountered on other items such as miniature cameras. The first test inside gave a strong, green light that easily covered 12 metres, gave bright, visible lines in normal interior daylight conditions and was accurate.During the day, even when used in the shade the green crosshairs were only visible at 4 metres although that was in mid-July when the days were exceptionally bright. So, outside, I had to use the level at 6.30 in the morning to be able to see further, no big deal as we were on early starts anyway due to the heat.At this time of day before the sun was completely up, the green lines were easily visible at 9 metres, which was what I’d initially bought the level to do.I think I’d probably want to use the pulse receiver for levelling, say, between buildings but, as it’s virtually the same price as the level itself, maybe I’ll just stick to the early mornings instead. The photos taken in the evening showing a neighbours roof, about 14 metres away and they look a bit darker than it actually was at the time.I highly recommend the Huepar 5011G for indoor work and for outside measurements as well, certainly if you can do your levelling and marking at the very beginning of the day or early evening.

Game changer - brilliant.
I bought a DeWalt two line laser level (DW088K) which can project one horizontal and one vertical line but soon realised that I needed two vertical lines (at 90°) to accurately set out some projects.I'd never heard of Huepar, and originally wasn't going to buy this model but my original preference wasn't available next day. However, serendipity saved the day and I'm very pleased to have bought this model - the 4 line functionality will be put to good use, and being able to change modes (including lasers on/off) via the remote control is very useful. The single rechargeable battery lasts for hours, the pole/tripod mounting bracket has micro adjustment, and the whole thing feels well made.Superb value for money.

Great tool!
Fantastic tool! Really bright and some to set up! Compared with other big brands there was little/no difference so perfect for DIYers like me.Only suggestion would be to make sure you get the tripod with it too. I thought I could do without but it was a real pain in the chuff and had to beer l borrow next doors camera tripod. However, if you've already got a tripod y be fine as the thread in the bottom of the level I the correct size.
