Skar Audio SVR-10 D2 10" 1600 Watt Max Power Dual 2 Ohm Car Subwoofer

I started off with this shallow, OEM style box. I’m a little older and have a baby now so wasn’t going for the loud bass. I was happy for a day or two but I wanted more. Upgraded from 8 gauge to 4awg power/ground and a 150amp fuse and swapped the VD-10 for this thing. Not much difference, it was very underwhelming in that small box, even though the specs with within range. I decided to get a ported SKAR box made just for this sub and holy crap what a HUGE difference. It sounded like a $1000 difference in sound quality, I mean this thing quakes, it sounds great at low volumes. I have the low pass set to just under 240hz to get the mids coming through too and it just sounds like a concert in my 2020 CRV dad-mobile lol. I turn the bass down when the baby is in the car but when he’s not I like to crank it. Sounds amazing with everything from Heavy Metal, Country, Pop, Rap, whatever. It’s only a pioneer class D 1600w amp (800rms at 1ohm) and i couldn’t be happier

Wasn't expecting a whole lot from it, but it keeps up with the RF punch p3 of the same size.

I have 2 of these 10 inch subs in a ported box powered by the 2000 watt skar class d amp. It is an improvement over my previous set up which was a 1000 watt jl audio amp with two entry level jl 10s. The price is right and I have been satisfied with the performance up to this point. Considering cranking up the gain but I'm worried it might just blow the subs if I crank it too much. In conclusion, if you're in the market and on a budget I'd recommend this sub for sure!

I have an old 750.2 zapco amp pushing two of these 10s. Sounds great and these speakers can handle some power.

Ok so I bought this in conjunction with a hifonics 1800 watt amp. I have this single sub in the very back of my 2011 Ford E150 passenger van and it shakes you hard. I have gotten so many compliments and what ups while driving. My best friend and my sister both have bought this sub and are having me install it for them. I parallel wired it down to 1 ohm and put the mono D amp on this bad boy and it's genuinely one of the best sounding subs I've purchased. I will warn you that this sub will break a crappy box. I had to replace the 50 dollar box I got for the q power armoured ported box. I mean this thing hits so hard it broke the box housing it! What more can you say?! Just get it and tell me I'm wrong. But you won't cause I'm not.
