PCP - Performance Cdi & Ignition Coil For Honda XR50 XR70 XR70R XR80R XR100 XR100R

I have a 1986 Honda XR80R, worked perfectly fine. The only complain I do have is that the ignition cool is kinda cheap because the plastic is very brittle and broke off, but doesn't really effect anything about its use. It works perfectly fine, it does fit kinda loose though. Also, the cdi unit? no complaints so far. Works great, and even looks pretty cool! Also it has a light on the box, so it lets you know when you crank the engine if you're getting anything. If it's not flashing bright red then it's something else, trust me you'll know when it's flashing bright. Great for the price I paid, so five stars!

Great bang for the buck! I paid more than that, for an aftermarket coil, from a local shop. The CDI is great. A little extra revvvvv!

Works perfectly but since it is a universal part the CDI is too big for the holder on the XR50 I put it in and the coil/spark plug wire is a lot longer than the original but its not a big deal, If you have any of these components that are bad this kit will take care of it.

Barely ran at all with this cdi box. Hard to start. Wouldn't rev up. Bogged under load. Spit popped and backfired through carb. Stopped running all together once hot. I returned to the stock CDI box and all problems instantly went away.

Great for the price. Threw this on my 2002 xr80r and it fit perfectly into the old CDI mount. Only needed the ignition wire but I figured I'd replace the CDI along with it and I'm glad I did. Definitely noticed a big difference in the throttle response and it was super easy to install. I'll post some pics

Installed on my '97 Honda XR80R during a complete performance rebuild. Runs like a dream, and I love that it has the indicator light for the spark.

The coil worked good which was what I mainly needed. My coil was broken. And I seen this one came with a "performance cdi" so I figured why not. Well the cdi was junk. My bike wouldn't run after installing it. So I put my original one back on and runs fine. You definitely get what you pay for.

The cdi box really helped my xr100 on the bottom end, especially since my xr is for stunting (riding wheelies), it will lift the front wheel a lot smooother. Does make bike harder to start due to the advanced timing, also will kick back more so have to be careful when starting, almost broke my ankle! The coul does work but quality is not good, but makes a good spare. Not sure if i would trust either item for a long ride out in the woods, so would keep oem close by.
