American Girl Crafts Super Scrapbook Kit

I purchased this item as a Christmas Gift for my daughter and she LOVES it! I wanted something for US to due together and this scrapbook turned out to be just the item....Happy Customer!

This is a very cute item and a great gift idea for a daughter, neice, etc. However, there are instructions on the inside for removing the 'embellishment' pages from the binding but we were not successful. Following the instructions, we tried removing the screws from the binding to pull out the pages but the aluminum screws were bent. After trying to put the screws back in, and using as is, the plastic covers for the pages ripped and as my neice was turning pages, they were falling out. I ordered a new book thinking that I received a defective item. Amazon was great and sent a new one and I returned the first. Once again, I could not get the top screw out of the binding to remove the embellishment pages. My husband (a contractor) tried again and said the aluminum screws that screw into each other were bent. I didn't even bother trying to use as is. I'm returning the book and looking for something that doesn't require the binding to be removed or a 3-ring binder enclosure. It's too bad because it looked like a really nice item and there were a lot of other good reviews. I just didn't see anyone else having the same issue but a lot of them were gifts so maybe they weren't told of the issue.

I purchased this for my 8 year-old and she absolutely loves it. There's pages and pages of bright, colorful stickers and an alphabet and cute phrases. And each scrapbook page has a layout to fit one or two pictures. Some might have to be cut to fit a few circular or square shapes. I would prefer more room for pictures, but that's my only issue with it.

The scrapbook is well-made and my niece loved all the stickers that came with it. FYI- the pages have pre-printed areas to place photos, which was not mentioned in the product details. The pre-printed pages are much simpler than the ones shown in the product picture, but can be embellished using the materials available in the kit.

granddaughter loved this book. She is also an American Girl doll collector so how could she not love it.

My 8 year old wanted to start scrap booking. She has a digital camera and a pogo printer (prints 2x3) which she really can not use with this scrapbook.I was disappointed with the page layouts. Each page has 2-3 pre-sized areas for pictures. You have to have a picture that will fit the shape. There is a also a very small area for writing. We have had problems finding pictures to fit the shape for each page.It really limits creativity. SADGreat stickers!

My granddaughter received her first American Doll for her birthday in December so this scrapbook is a perfect compliment. She is excited about being able to put pictures etc. in it as she enjoys her new doll. It also helps with her school work as she learns to post pictures but more so the dialog she puts with them. Thank you!!!
