Beard Wash Shampoo w/Argan & Jojoba Oils - Softens & Strengthens - Sandalwood Scent - 17 oz Shampoo

My husband is a big fan of Viking Revolution products in general, but this specific beard wash is one of his favorites. He likes the generous size of the bottle—it lasts him several months with regular, daily use. He says it leaves his beard feeling truly clean and noticeably softer. It also does a great job at keeping odor at bay, even after active days spent outdoors. Overall, it’s a solid product that keeps his beard fresh, clean, and well-groomed. If you're looking for something truly for softening, this is not it, but it's definitely a great cleaning wash.

I bought this with the understanding that this was supposed to be a beard conditioner wash to help hydrate and oil, damaged and healthy beards. I’ve used beard washes very infrequently because it will strip all of the oils out of your beard, making it more important to oil and balm after your shower. My beard was starting to recover from the last time I washed it and this shampoo acted exactly like beard shampoo, stripping all oils and leaving nothing behind. While the product does have plenty of oils, they can’t stick around because the soap base washes it away leaving no benefitting hydrating oils to nurture the hair. It smells amazing!!! The smell of sandalwood is pungent but subtle. As a shampoo it does its job well if needed. Working in an oily factory for example. You don’t want that stuff on your beard or soaking in your chin for too long, so this stuff will work for that. Beard conditioning ability is a fail for me. My beard feels like straw after balming and oiling. I had hopes that it was going to condition my beard but it made it much worse. Also, I used this co-wash by itself so I wasn’t double washing my beard and the last time I washed it was 3 weeks ago because I fried my beard washing it too much without knowing. My beard was getting softer over time and I thought this co-wash was going to help recovery. Back to square one and trying to find a better co-wash and nurturing my beard back to good health. I’ll update if I find something better.

I have used several different Beard shampoos. Cremo, Beard Guys etc. Bought Viking Revolution just to try it and hopefully find the perfect beard shampoo for me. This one does not really stand out from the others except that it does seem to make my beard fuller. It is supposed to smell like sandalwood. I have no idea what sandalwood is supposed to smell like, but it is not an overpowering scent or unpleasant. The bottle contains a lot more shampoo than any of the others so it will last quite a while and is a bargain.. Nothing bad to say about Viking but Iam still looking for that perfect beard shampoo so I will continue to read reviews and try others.

The lather is fantastic and makes my beard soft but not stripped of oils. Highly recommend using this product!

Love this beard shampoo, it smells great and keep the beard clean. I use it daily and it doesn't irritate the skin so you know it's meant for the beard, unlike some other big brand shampoo's that i've used. Throw some beard oil in right after and the mane stays soft and itch free. Definitely more expensive than some off the shelf stuff but worth the price and will last a while.
