My mother always taught us to use boiled milk. I imagine whole milk is the best and then blend the chocolate poudre along with the boiled milk. Poulain is the same brand my mother used as a child in Normandy, FR. I order it for her since she has a hard time sleeping at night. At 87, she is now lactose intolerant so the boilded milk is what she still prefers and can tolerate. I find it tastier than some of the brands here - not so sugared up but still sweet. I don't believe you would like it sweeter than it is, but if you do, think of blending a little honey with it. That's the only advise I can think of to give. I hope this works for you. I don't think you will be disappointed.
