The quality and the practicality of these edge guards is questionable. I bought these because they are supposed to be carbon fiber and they looked good on a black car. In practicality, they can target only a very small area in which to protect your door and I bought these knowing that. I was primarily attracted to the looks. The quality is disappointing to say the least, My first set lasted approx. (1) year before turning completely opaque from what was a very dark black. Admittedly the car sits outside but, I do not live in constantly sunny area. I have just purchased another set and would like to comment on the difficulty in removing the old guards. The only practical way to remove these was to use a heat gun, just to the point to make them pliable, then taking a nylon molding removal tool, like a flat pry bar and work the tool under the guards while hot to remove them from the car door. What remained was the adhesive, which can be removed by using spray clear coat safe adhesive/decal remover. Caution and patience needs to be exercised during this whole process as damage to the paint can easily occur.

When I lived in Japan, almost every vehicle had these on the doors. Within the first year, and the tiny parking spots, I realized what a lifesaver these things are. Aesthetically, they look fine. I put them on my (black) 2014 FR-S; and they don't line up perfectly, but not worth criticizing. The doors on my car are quite long, and I know one day I might be in a hurry and open up my door just a little too far. These will save my door edge that day, and pay themselves off! The edges of the pieces were a little scruffy; so I wouldn't recommend putting them on a show-car, but for everyone else- they'll do their job!

Not exactly a perfect fit, as far as corner coverage goes. After seeing the outer edge was very straight as opposed to slight curve I warmed them up with a blow dryer and re-shaped the before final application. They stick, are thick enough for the task, and look pretty cool. But as for me, I would feel better with "old fashioned" tube-type edge guards.

Looks great &stylish BUT it's too thin, not enough cushion to protect the edge of your door. I wish there's a bigger size to fit perfectly to an SUV.

Does a good job of protecting doors from nicks when opening.

Really like the way they look. I just wish they were about twice as long as they are! And putting 2 of each on each door would just look really tacky.

Product was easy to install and blended very well with my Obsidian Metallic Black Mercedes E400. Just make sure area is clean use a alcohol pad to clean area. Let dry, peel off adhesive tape cover and apply product. Thank simple. Here are some pics to share

Does what it says. What else can I say? Yes, it also turns white when struck, so you'll need to replace them eventually.
