Beautiful and Extremely Survival Zinnia Upgrade
Live in a very challenging location in Central Fl. where conditions change from wet seasons to near drought conditions. There are scores of lakes in this area generating plant killing fungi, mold and bacteria. It's on high ground, mostly humid in summer with 66% as a norm for this year. It is constantly windy causing rapid pot dehydration and it takes 48 hours to be ravaged by disease or insects brought by wind. By design this garden is a Bee, (Humming ) Bird, and Butterfly garden. 1/2 of the garden terrestrial the other part is a container garden ranging from a dozen 3 gallon to 5 massive 7 gallon. Collective strategies yielded a sprawling near dream garden. Until recently no Zinnias lasted past September for a over 15 years. In part, the intended Christmas garden was for two years by the super fast growing and prolific flowering Cranberry Hibiscus. A shotgun approach involved chemical warfare using farming and commercial grade stuff not gardening methods. Chemists also take biology, so care is taken to use chemicals carefully where unintended consequences harm insect populations. The other strategy involved upping the game in terms of strains. AI strongly recommended Zahara Zinnia based on criteria my location data and disease/drought resistance. Admittedly was worried that Zahara would attract butterflies as a new plant on the block. They quickly got hooked just as much as Zinnias, even Prince Dahlias. In fact, the butterfly and bee population increased. Flowers look different and a bit smaller but are beautiful and greatly more abundant and much more prolific with better than 95% germination rate. They can be used as proofs that deadheading works because every day they must be deadheaded. They produced so much seeds that I replant them immediately just to increase the bee population numbering daily from 3 to 7 butterflies . They are very entertaining to watch as they are playful with one another. Zahara's claimed resistance to dry conditions and disease is true, because experienced these all in one Floridian summer. As for the success, other strategies were involved since gardening strategies requires a a strategic, think-ahead mentality otherwise new ones are too late to start. PS I actually felt obligated to write this revies because it's nice to have a beautiful garden populated with life.

Fantastic germination in peat pots
I planted the seeds individually in peat pots and had an excellent germination rate. I did plant them late for the season and outside but they looked great when I got them in the ground. I have lost a few to hungry rolly polly bugs but those that are alive are looking good. We have had an unusual amount of extra rain and cloudy days so I think they are a bit slow to kick in but I am hoping for a colorful show in the summer. This is my first time planting this type of mounding zinnia.

Slow to germinate and a bit small.
I started two kinds of zinnia from seed. The Raspberry was slow to germinate and to grow. It is doing better in the garden but will have to wait and see on the flowers.

November 2021 is whenever I made my purchase if you purchase seeds closer to Winter you beat the springtime prices so much so I typically bulk buy a month before Christmas. These seeds did not grow at all I germinate all of my seeds these did not germinate they did not grow they did not get Little sprouts nothing happened nothing changed a waste of money. The photo that I provided is so that you a potential customer can see what actually grew in my garden and what did not grow. Like I said I ordered mine November 2021 I took this photo 4 days ago of my garden now here it is JULY 2022 I made sure to wait so I could give you a proper review of what Amazon is suggesting that you purchase. I don't know if the seeds I selected actually are what Amazon States you just have to go by what the internet tells you and hope it's right I don't understand why my other seeds grew these did not whatsoever. Would I suggest this product to a friend: NO Would I purchase this again next year: NO Am I satisfied with my purchase: NO THESE DID NOTHING!!

Nothing wasted, just good seeds.
Nothing but seeds. Planted in peat pots in February in my basement and everything sprouted and I had a great looking garden in May.
