Bottom of the Pot: Persian Recipes and Stories

Bought this for me and my Persian girlfriend to enjoy together and WOW, it's an incredible book with beautiful pictures and stories. This is so much more than just another cook book. 100% worth the big price tag.

To make tahdig....the crispy part of the rice I have several Persian cookery books.....married to an Iranian and living in Iran for a number of years so I have a lot of recipes in my repertoire. The book is beautifully written and you get a sense of Iranian family life. I made the tah dig and it turned out better than it ever had done so happy with my purchase. Lots more recipes to try.

Bought as a gift and was greatly appreciated. Full of wonderful stories and photos, I am looking to get a copy of the book for myself.

Another great cookbook to add to my collection! (and I have many Persian cookbooks) I’ve just made the Baghlava cake- it’s really good!

Some recipes are really good.

Nice informative book, as a long time cook of Persian food my recipes are slightly different but bought for my son as a reference to the dishes he has grown up on and wants to create himself.
