NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Butter Gloss, Non-Sticky Lip Gloss - Madeleine (Mid-Tone Nude)

After reading reviews I was hesitant about a couple reviews saying this lip gloss is sticky. It is NOT! I don't know why they said that. This lip gloss is smooth, very buttery smooth. Its soft & smooth going on & lasts hours. I found it dries quickly but soft & smooth to enough to smack your lips without it wearing off too quickly. It doesnt smudge either. Im extremely happy with this brand & im ordering more at this fantastic price ($3.98). I love the color. I ordered Salty Coco which is a very pretty shade of soft medium mauve & very complimentary. Im excited to find this great gloss & even more excited at the great deal offered.

I am absolutely in love with this product. I have learned to line my lips, add lipstick, and then put this in the bow of my upper lip. The shine makes all the difference. Little makeup trick I was taught. I’ve also used it as a full cover gloss and I like the color a lot. It is not drying, and it does lay on a bit of color.

I really like this Glow Reviver Lip Oil. The texture is smooth, and the color is beautiful, giving a noticeable high-shine finish. It has no strange or unpleasant smell, which makes it pleasant to wear throughout the day. The product arrived well-packaged and on time, and it feels moisturizing and nourishing on the lips. If you enjoy a bold, glossy look, this is definitely a good option.

I really like the color of this butter gloss — it’s flattering and looks especially nice on lighter skin tones. It gives a pretty pop of color while also adding a shiny, glossy finish. The gloss glides on easily and feels smooth when first applied, and it’s definitely buildable if you want a bit more color payoff. That said, the biggest downside for me is how sticky it is. And I mean very sticky. If you get it on your hands, it sticks to everything, which can be pretty aggravating. That stickiness also makes it less comfortable to wear for long periods, especially if your hair touches your lips. Despite that, the gloss does what it’s supposed to do — it adds shine and color, and it looks great once on. I just wish the formula were less tacky, because otherwise it would be a favorite. Overall: beautiful color and shine, easy to apply, but the heavy stickiness holds it back. If you don’t mind a very sticky gloss, you’ll probably enjoy this one.

I really like the colour of the gloss. The application is smooth not sticky, has a quite hydrating feel once applied. I’ve worn it to dinner and drank beverages and you can still see the pink so it is long lasting. Since I’ve been using it and it is apart of my go to lip combo, I’ve never had an incident with it smudging. I definitely recommend it, actually want to try another colour soon.

I have been using NYX lip gloss for so many years I cannot begin to count, and for many of them I only purchased the PERFECT color, Creme Brulee (apologies if my spelling is off). I'd read somewhere it was a great inexpensive lip gloss choice, and once I tried it, I was hooked! I now own multiples - one or two at home, one at work, one in my purse, one in the car. It's just the most flattering shade on all skin tones, a subtly sexy, pretty shade that you can layer over literally any color of lipstick or just wear on its own for your "no-make-up" days!! In the last couple of years I've ventured out and finally purchased other shades, of which there are many. Although my favorite will always remain Creme Brulee, I'm also a true fan of the shades Praline and Tiramisu, and love Angel Food Cake for going out in the evening. I'll often pair my NYX glosses with a lip liner worn all over my lips (either an NYX color or another brand) so the color lasts longer. The shine is off the charts with these glosses, to boot! I find the one con with these lip glosses is that they're not the longest-lasting ones on the market, but at approximately $5 a pop, I'm definitely not going to complain!

I ordered what I thought was a bright, but rich red (the rocky road color) and what arrived was a very deep, almost mulberry or cranberry wine color. Its closer to a brownish purple than the bright red pictured. And since there's no label on the product that lists the color, for all i know they sent me the wrong color. I dont know. Now, this stuff is really thick. I dont use colored lip gloss, so I dont know how it compares to others, but it seems thick and a bit streaky. It goes on very pigmented, but does get rather sheer if you spread it around. The color is really pretty (even if it isnt what I thought i was getting) but I have to basically dab on, because just one swipe gives me a purple mouth and makes me look a bit clown like. It feels pretty sticky when you first put it on. Its a bit hard to spread. It seems like it dries my lips out, so I've been making sure to put some lip balm on shortly before. It also tingles a bit? I'm not sure if it's supposed to? It does smell very good though, a really weird buttery smell that's honestly really delicious. I'm not crazy about the applicator as it seems pretty small, but its also really hard to get product on more than just the tip. And I cant swipe it on, because the lip gloss itself is wayyy to pigmented, and since its such a deep, full coverage color it looks really bad. All in all, I'm not that crazy about it. Maybe a different color would be better, but I'm a bit hesitant to try another since this was so inaccurate to the item pictured. I don't want to spend money on something I can't really, or don't want to, use, ya know?

This color is perfect. Creamy, shimmery and goes well with a lot of clothes I wear in the fall. I ended up getting another because it was running out so fast. Not sticky, just creamy and stays a decent amount of time on lips.
