Well made & perfect weight. Really helps counteract hand tremors. Now food goes in her mouth instead of the floor. Once you get used to the feel of them confidence builds. Spoons are larger than standard sized flatware . I personally think it is a good thing. The knife is serrated deeper than standard flatware. I find them to be a true Godsend. She has the confidence to cut up her own food and much less gets away from her now. They feel good in your hands, look and are just superior quality. They aren't a fix for hand tremors but they are worth the price and it is wonderful to see the confidence these have given her. If I could rate 10 stars I would.

This weighted Utensil set is extremely well made and a very high quality. It arrived packed in a sturdy box with a carrying case for travel. My husband has been using them for several days and he says that they do work and help him to steady his tremors so he can eat more easily. They are heavy which takes getting used to. They are also larger than the standard Utensils, but that makes it easier to place and hold the food on the spoons and fork. Would highly recommend. Each time we have had a meal he reaches for the Utensil's which tells me that they are working as advertised.

I purchased this set of weighted utensils as a gift for a family member with uncontrollable hand tremors. The set looks and feels very impressive. The quality of the materials and workmanship is outstanding, and each utensil is extremely well-balanced. Best of all, the gift recipient is enjoying using them and the utensils definitely minimize his shakiness while eating. The storage/travel case that comes with this set is also well-made and useful. My only comment is that both of the spoons in the set are quite large. (I cannot tell, honestly, which one is supposed to be the teaspoon and which is the soup spoon. One is round and the other is oval.) I personally don't think, as a petite woman, that I would enjoy using such large spoons for dessert or soup. The fork and knife are a more average size, comparable to regular silverware. The knife is serrated and does an excellent job cutting cooked meat. Yes, this set was more expensive than some other weighted utensil sets available on Amazon, but I wanted something of high quality and lasting value. When viewed as a medical device or accommodation that makes mealtimes more enjoyable and less stressful, not just as "silverware," this set is absolutely worth the price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband has Parkinson's, and it was heartbreaking watching him struggle to just get a bite of food into his mouth without spilling most of it. Other heavy utensils are very fat at the handle. This is fine for grip issues, like arthritis, but for a younger man with early-onset Parkinson's, it felt like a blow to his dignity. When he saw the sleek, elegant design of these and felt their comfortable weight, I never saw him get so emotional over a gift. You helped me give him the perfect Christmas gift. Thank you!

My husband has poly-neuropathy with a great deal of muscle wasting in his hands and arms. He also has moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease and has developed myoclonic jerks that affect is ability to control the use of regular silverware. The spoons have made a huge difference when he tries to eat. The spoons do seem to be oversized, but he always used a tablespoon or soup spoon to eat so it hasn't been a problem for him. He can actually get food to his mouth now without spilling. He is struggling trying to use the fork. This is a result of the dementia, not the silverware. They are well make, attractive and definitely do the job for which they were intended.

These weighted utensils really do help the tremors AND they are beautiful, modern and well made. The enclosed bag was helpful to keep them together and take them out for dinners.

They are great and enable my husband to eat much more easily. They are attractive too. Warning, they are very heavy. When you put them on a plate and pick up the plate, you get a surprise. When you drop them, watch out. They could break tile. (Or maybe a toe?) But seriously this is a very attractive set that solves a real life problem. We are very happy with the purchase. Note: I looked at other sets with a steak knife included but this set has a knife with a serrated blade that handles meat just fine. With the size and weight, better to have fewer pieces.

Heavy. Well made. Bought them as a gift for a partner who has a tremor. She says the do seem to help. I am reviewing these after a year if use and dishwashering. The still look as good as new.

There is a balance between heavy and too heavy to handle. This set of cultery is just the right weight that it steadies one hand in order to eat. While there are many other similar set for people with tremor issues I believe these are excellent value for the cost.
