High quality, no leaks if you tighten it correctly, everything lined up without brute force
Fit perfectly with zero leaks the first time, took about 5 minutes to install. You'd be wise to get the correct wrenches for doing your own fuel filter changes and to tighten each side a bit at a time instead of going wild on one side, then the other. I ended up changing my filter 3x in a week trying to isolate a fuel issue (thought it was fuel pump, tank filled with sludge, ended up being a sensor...) but this one came first, then two no names to save cash. I ultimately reinstalled this after I determined my issue had nothing to do with fuel, because it as the best of the three - and factory Toyota.

Worked
It worked well. Note for installation: the fuel lines take an enormous amount of force to tighten. Make sure you have a flare nut wrench for the nut on the line. If you do not, you can warp the nut. The lines are high pressure; that is why they have to be torqued so high. Good luck

OEM quality, good price
Worked super well for me. Genuine OEM part at a good price. Unplug fuel pump, start engine and let it kill itself. Unbolt old one (try not to round the bolts), install the new one with some antisieze on the threads, bolt everything back up, plug fuel pump back in, double check everything, then start it up again. It’ll take a while to start because the fuel has to be brought back through the lines. Let it run for a little bit, make sure there aren’t any leaks. Took me about 30 minutes start to finish. Hopefully this one will last another 270K miles, because the stock one was good up until a few months ago.

Defective Genuine Toyota OEM Fuel Filters?
This is the Second (2nd) Genuine Toyota OEM fuel filter (returned the first one already for a replacement) for a 1998 Toyota 4Runner that I cannot get to stop leaking fuel upon installation. Not sure if I got two filters from the same bad batch, or what? When I put the old filter back on (again for the 2nd time) the 4Runner it seals up fine (both times I had to reinstalle it due to bot being able to get the new OEM filters to seal).

My 99' 4runner has 160k miles with no record of this filter ever having been changed. For peace of mind I decided to change it. Very easy, just need a 10mm socket to take the holder off the frame, a 14mm line wrench and 3/4" wrench for back up. Take the gas cap off to relieve pressure, loosen the two nuts on the steel lines going to the filter before removing the two 10mm nuts holding it to the frame. You'll loose < 5 oz. of fuel so be prepared to not get it in your eyes and have a catch pan under the vehicle. When reinstalling, snug (by hand) the two nuts on the steel lines going to the filter. Once they are started and snugged, then attach the bracket back to the frame using the two 10mm nuts. Tighten the two 10mm nuts then finish tightening the nuts on the steel lines with your wrenches.

What can I say? OEM parts are the best.
Not much to say, great OEM part, fits perfect and functions as it should. My 1997 4Runner has 337k and I try to stick with Toyota OEM parts to keep it in the road.
