McCormick Gourmet Global Selects White Summer Truffle Salt from France, 3 oz

Love this salt. Such a bargain compared to stores. So glad it’s available on line! Has great taste very versatile! My favorite thing to do with it is wrap fresh mozzarella cheese balls wrapped in fresh basil leaves then gingerly dipped in this salt! Yum

This pink Himalayan sea salt with black truffles in it adds a touch of gourmet on what you use it on. It is amazing on eggs, potatoes, Soups, salads, anything. I have bought it several times and will continue to purchase it irregularly.

Any gourmet knows that truffles are magic, and this salt fits the bill. Although it says White, the truffle pieces in my jar are black – not to worry. This is a product with broad and deep complexity. Did someone say they detected fried oysters and fresh hot buttered lobster? Mais oui! and these are just some of the flavor notes I detect in this wonderful product.

This is a decent salt but lacks a bit in the truffle flavor department. There are definitely better truffle salts out there. However, it isn't bad for the price. Most of the better salts will run you twice the price of this one or more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Truffle salt is a staple in our house. I mostly use the same brand but once in a while I try others so was very excited to see this product especially it has good value. I was wrong. this salt has no scent or flavor that is usually very distinctive of truffle salt. The truffle bits have pale smell even for white truffle almost like regular dry mushrooms .As if you bought simple sea salt and paid extra for it, not to mention there is no spice fitment which helps when using this expensive salt , so basically just a container jar..Can't return due to Amazon policy. disappointing.

Good quality for a lot lower price then the natural food stores

I like the packaging I actually like the product the only downside is I’ve been cheated out of some of the products as you can see from the picture. I posted a picture showing the two McCormick items and as you can see this item has less in it and I do not believe it’s from settling because all the seasonings I received from the McCormick world line would have settled as well and they didn’t.
