1 Carton/5 SQFT - 3"x6" Glazed Ceramic Subway Tile, White (Gloss)

I have installed a LOT of subway tile. I usually buy the tile that has both a white surface and white clay body. This tile has a peach/beige clay body with a surface coating of white ceramic. The color is a nice white-white.The tile installed beautifully. The color was consistent and there were no warped, broken, or out of square tiles. Unfortunately, they were a bugger to cut on my tile saw. The surface coating chipped a lot and I could not achieve a nice smooth edge. Luckily, my project was a small tile surround around my laundry sink.Pros: Looks beautiful. The tiles are true to square, consistent in their manufacture, and sturdy enough.Cons: Difficult to cut, especially for a larger project. Surface color is not the same as clay body color.Consider that one box holds 40 tiles. This was enough to do a 3 row back splash, 9" x 5', with 9 tiles left over.

I used these tiles for alcohol ink painting. They’re a great size for a small scene. They came packaged well with no damage.
